I assumed what was being discussed is English Billiards (Rules: http://www.ibsf.info/rules-billiards.shtml ), which is generally just referred to as Billiards in the UK.
Bar Billiards is a great game, by the way, that used to be popular in pubs before Pool was introduced as it does not require very much floor space. Nowadays you would be very lucky to find a table in the UK.

Theres tonnes of variation. Should be 10 reds so that 1 red = 1 wicket imo.
I did make a thread 2 months back. But literally no one bothered to look.

Yeah there a few, usually in good old fashioned rural pubs and obviously some clubs (lucky devil )
Would be tricky to implement I would imagine (Bar Billiards that is) because of the dynamics involved around the holes.

if you take 1 type away what you don't like then we may as well take every type down as everyone has their own opinions on which game types they like and which they don't.
i haven't heard of billards but its always good to have another game type on here providing the server can cope.

as mentioned by destiny before, in a lot of places billiards refers to the pool games available on funkypool. i had to look the game up too, never heard of it before.

Billiards is a VERY European game, is good fun though, more fun game types should be considered I think, expecially billiards, as a more traditional game as opposed to power. I vote for it if it doesn't ruin the server etc.

As Destiny also said before....what exactly is billiards?
Billiards in Holland is there more or less in two varations:
* Libre (no cushions required)
* 3 banden (3 cushions -> Carom)
Libre is most used in dutch pubs.

So it's just an easier version of Carom ? That's all that video shows is Carom without the need of hitting 3 cushions, which makes it unbelievably easy...

Its more or less the same with snooker in real life. On this game relative easy but on real table.....
Ive played this libre hours and hours when i was still a student. Could reach a decent average (points per turn).
If billiards will be played here on an orig table....i expect something from it.....
