Nick, would it be possible the negate the 29/1/11 3:00pm Original Tournament results (both rank and tournapoints - at least from the semi-final onwards) because it was disrupted by sever connection problems?

I was fortunate enough to regain connection for both the semis and final, but my opponents were not so fortunate, resulting in losses that were beyond their control.

I'm sure other tournaments in the future could be affected in a similar way and therefore a mechanism to void results (by admin) I feel would be beneficial.

Just to be clear, reposting from front page, so that people that have just noticed the thread and haven't read the first page will know that this is a thread requesting for specific changes to cater for the current anomaly with respect to tournaments. It was not intended as a gripe thread for particular disappointments (which may or not be related) or as a discussion of Nick's hosting situation.

I was just logged off on a break of 72 on a max break this is silly. BUt i has not count the game at all

If they cant fix the problem then give your business to somebody else

I have now lost 5 point of rank and its doing my head in so i am not playing until it is fixed due i dont my win % going down and down and down

bloody connection problems just got logged out in a ranked game with my break at 85 and on green

This is getting out of hand now. I no its not worth much but me and mrothwell both got DQ'ed in the micro arcade final. I have been logged out of a few matches now.

the connection has failed in the arcade tourny aswell now

i got dq with tinie gettin dq aswell in semis

hmmm this seems to be costing players games, and breaks etc.... just looked and pastaman ended up being the winner of the arcade tournament, this is one reason why i dont play anymore, i only come on here to to play friendlys.. this does need sorting, if it doesnt, players may stop playing

Well Nick is browsing so I am sure he is trying to get things sorted - but it's not necessarily instantaneous.

Might be worth holding off of ranked games until it is sorted - don't know, just a suggestion

Was in the arcade tournament the other night. Got to another semi final beating some big names along the way thinking this might be my chance to finally win a proper tournament and not a micro(which i've won a few times but was devastated to find it didn't go on my stats lol) and then the server went down and was logged out.
Completely gutted

To be fair, on that occasion, nobody actually lost out (other than the potential for wins and points) and as such no adjustment is necessary (or indeed calculable).

This website does suck, how hard is it to keep the website up and running? most websites manage this.

Just in micro final 40+ up so the odds were good in my favour then then the server went down, again.
Really annoying

Nick have you got a solution for not just this in tournys, but on a whole in the last 20 mins I must of lost connection 30/40 times it's become a joke now
