Actually, you see the cue moving because your screen is still catching up with their shot. They took their shot within 20 seconds however your/their slow internet connection means it appears to take longer than that for it to catch up.

There is nothing to be done about it because nothing is wrong.

Excuse me, ive already brought this subject up, and nothing has been done about it. I also mentioned, it wasnt a lag, as the other persons cue was still moving + 20 secs, so you see, its you who is talking rubbish. Im not that thick to know someone is taking more than 20 seconds to take a shot, DOH
BTW.... thanks for looking at my profile HA

I never looked at your profile, just to make that clear.

And nothing can be done about it, it's always been due to internet connection, and outside the sites control. Simple as that.

And why do people take posts too much to heart, no one likes being told it as it is.

The timer is only on your computer anyway

It has absolutely no reflection on the other persons computer or to what is happening on their screen. Nick has always said it is only a guide! Once the shot has taken place on your screen the timer resets. The other person could be suffering severe lag and take a minute to take each shot which gives the appearance of a long shot time on your screen

Also, if either you or your opponent is "Not responding" it give you up to 90 seconds (I believe) before disconnecting you or them. This is another reason for some delayed shots appearing to be well over the shot time limit, this happens in all disciplines, and can be very misleading.

back on topic

i think the clock shot should be 10 seconds in POWER torny at least 1 and the other 15
i do it myself time waist if its needed near the end but i still dont agree with it

10 seconds will be closer to the real thing in time sense as the match time is halfed anyway. a true half scale

10 seconds shot will not stop people entering and if your not good enough to play in 10 seconds then your not good enough to win it anyway IMO

In normal Snooker, time wasting is definitely a pain but, from what I saw of the televised Power Snooker, it is a valid and acceptable tactic employed by the professionals.

Why should players that are not "good enough" to play 10 seconds be punished for playing a game they may enjoy???

isn't that what the idea of playing an online game is about? Maybe you play for another reason but the majority of people on here play for enjoyment, boredom relief or nothing else better to do.

Why should those people be punished?

this wont be the first torny at 10 seconds a shot
it is not a punishment get real
if you say you play for fun how does less time on a shot make it less fun only more fun IMO

stops the boring not so fun time waisters

ok

Out of interest, what is a "time waister"? Somebody whose waist differs over time?

You hardly mean "time waster" meaning somebody who misuses time?
