1 big tourny all games types!

if you can beat everybody and play everything along the way!

Then you deserve a medal at the end of it!

I understand what you're saying but they are all different games and as i said some people don't play all the games.

thats why they need to learn them... you can't be the champion if ur not just joining a part of all games. Also with 4 CofC they are not worth as much as if it was only 1 a week... I think we've got enough tournies (too many) already.

No point making a Carom CofC tho. There's one carom tourny a day which would make it max. 7 entrants which is quiet a bit less.

Yeah all this probably doesn't matter anyway as it prob would never be took up by the site owners but was just a suggestion.

To take it a step further, you could have an Ultimate Champion of Champions event in december that would include all the weekly CofC winners through the year and have a tournament that does consist of all the disciplines.

Then you would find the true champion like you say

If it was once every 3 or 6 month I'd be pleased lol... Because imagine. 4 winners in a week....16 a month.... 192 a year.. lol...

As apposed to the 192 winners a day.

Again, you would have multiple winners, so wouldn't be anywhere near this number.

Maybe have a monthly CofC? Then ultimate CofC in december?

Tournapoints mean you do have weekly and monthly champions


(not that I'm insinuating it's been thought about or anything...)


I actually don't see a problem with a massive tourney including all disciplines - sure the number of carom experts is quite low, but that just means everyone else is on a similar, if not great, level. If it was something like one game of each type in each round, then the snooker games dominate anyway.

i like this idea, wouldnt be able to get everyone on at the same time for it, but you could do a differemt format, i would like to do it, however ive dropped a fair bit recently

Spinner, do you ever actually take any idea seriously? You always seem to put a dampner on an idea.

Tournapoints are awful, they really are, a tournament with only winners of previous tournaments is a great idea, it shouldn't have any "tournapoints" up for grabs just the accolade of being the Champion of Champions.

This is your opinion and an opinion you have a right to have, but that does not mean tournapoints are awful and that people should agree.

Back on topic.......................... Not a bad idea for having a massive tournament including all types.

Err, I was wholly supporting the original ide of including all game types and never once suggested any tournapoints should be up for grabs.

I like the TournaPoints idea, it does show who the most consistent, succesful players are but i would still like to see some sort of Champion of Champions event.

Hmmmm maybe i should try n set up my own CofC event in the 'events' section of the forum? Is there any way of seeing a list of the winners from all the tourneys from the previous week?

As i would obviously need to invite them all.

Might have to note them down day by day.

Apparently "super tournaments" are under considering, let's just hope it's done right.
