have to draw it then, use a line and make it not too thick but not too thin either.

I have tried the ghost ball(wich by the way is the best option so far), but the cross-hair bits keep coming out of the shot cursor even on regular snooker(on original it is out of order),but as we said before I think it comes down to the size of the monitor. The biger the monitor is the better u see the shot cursor(without the cross-hair bits). But unfortunately,I own a 15,6" wide laptop...

Just done another to check that my statement that it is the same with the new ball set is correct :

Posted Image

Edit: By the way in order to keep crosshairs I had to open up a Magnifier (with a 4x expansion) and clipped the picture from that and not the main screen.

is this the circle bit of the cursor you are talking about or the cross-hair bit? I have an issue on my computer with the cross-hair being much bigger than the circle part of the cursor...

The cross hair is larger than the cue ball (overlaps), so i can't line up the shot correctly, hence why i don't play original

this happens to me aswell i changed my cursor and its slightly better but still not perfect

and its why i dont really like to play original

The physical size of the screen is not important - what is important is the Screen Resolution settings.

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Display -> Settings Tab

Although it is probably already set to the optimum resolution for your machine

Ah found it, my screen resolution is 1280 x 768, could this be the problem?

Seems an odd one as it isn't listed as one of the recommended settings in the table in section 3A ... BUT that setting may well be the recommended one for your particular PC and changing it may result in weird effects so I would suggest checking before changing anything.

Mine is exactly the same as the one you drew. What is odd is my old laptop which was much worse quality had the cross-hair fitting the cursor perfectly, but my newer better one has the cross-hair problem.

I have the same problem. My old laptop and the desk computer are better than my new laptop. The difference between them is the size of the monitor and the resolution(wich I can not change: 1366 x 768 recomended for windows 7). I did not have problems with the cross-hair bits coming out the cursor, although even than I would have prefered a smaller cursor.

Control Panel - Mouse - Pointers - Customize (click precision select) and then press browse - Scroll down until you find Cross_r

This is on Windows 7 and works for me, makes the cross hair a lot smaller. I don't know if this works on anything other than Windows 7 but it's worth a try I suppose

Thank you. It is working better indeed. But insted of the "cross_r", I find "cross_m" pointer more easy to use. Thanks a lot. It really helps.
