2. Ding Junhui
3. Mark Selby

Whats happened to Selby, all the promise from a few years ago, when he made it to the final, i know hes won the masters but not much else really?

Higgins and Selby stand as joint favourites for this year, then I'd say Ding, Ronnie and Mark Williams... Robertson, Allen, Murphy, Maguire and Carter the underdogs.

It's a rare incident Ronnie starting a World Championship as fourth favourite, he's my favourite and also most peoples favourite, so I'd like him win it, though looking at the draw he has a tough 1....

I usually make a lot of £££ from the World Snooker Championship, lol, won't take a position this year until I see some action

I never really count Ronnie as a favourite anymore.
He says he doesn't play the game to win things anymore he plays as though he was in a pub with his mates.

Therefore i dont see his motivation to win tournaments anymore, shame.

he doesnt really bother now.. i think its because hes annoyed that the spotlight has been taken from him... from players like Ding, Trump, Allen etc... he also does marathons.. he enjoys running

but also he has a lot of personal problems... like custody over his children, and that sort of stuff

He's not a favourite anymore m8, you can't rely on him because he can let you down, but if he starts performing we all know what a genius he is, so I'd be careful writing him off from the start of the tournament.
