Definetly J.Trump - in some respects i hope not. I live in Bristol and regulary played at the Keynsham Snooker Centre he played at when he was a teenager - amazing youngster to watch. Very disciplined and cracking positioning and potting ability, my friend said back then in 2003 when he was 13.... put £10 on him winning the WC Snooker before he is 25.. you will get odds of around 5000/1... i never did.. and saw him in the WCS 4 years ago as a debutant.

Since he played in the China Open 2 weeks ago, this urge for him to be WC Snooker champ is now not just a desire but a real target, quality person playing quality snooker, a real threat to all just ask M.Selby

My money.. years late... watch out for him.... Judd Trump to be crowned WC Snooker champ in either 2011/12/13/ or 2014.

Money riding on Ding to win. I reckon he'll go through the tourny largely unnoticed putting in solid performances and before you know it he'll be in the final.

But.. if Ronnie pulls himself together and gets through his first match who knows. Ronnie konws he can play anyone of the table(with his left hand lol) and the only player he probably fears is Higgings who has to be the favourite to win.

You can never count out Williams and even Hendry. Both two of the finest players to pick up a cue.

i can see higgins winning it, look at what he has achieved this season already, got money on him

robertson has already gone, Trump played really well, would like to see a good run from Hendry aswelll, but not going to happen

He was too good a talent that everyone knew about, the bookies wouldnt have been that foolish, i would say you would have done well to get 500/1!

Ronnie played well today great to watch, Dominic played well also little harsh on Dominic to be 7-2 down but thats how good Ronnie is

Lookin forward to Ronnie vs. Shaun Murphy in Round 2, both playing gr8, will be a cracker....

Having a glance at the draw Ronnie has a tough 1, faces Shaun Murphy now and Higgins possibly later.. Not an easy path to the final, top half of the draw is much easier.

ronnie will win it, he is the best player on the planet when he plays like he did today, i mean you could see by his body language he wanted to win

Ronnie was awesome and missed great max chance but remember he played against an inferior opponent with no disrespect towards Domic Dale. Murphy will give him much greater test and will be interesting to see how is temperament gets. Hopefully he'll relish the greater challenge and play even better. He seems to want this 1 and in his interviews he seems a lot less negative than usual which has to be a good thing.

Shame there cant be a Higgins/ O'sullivan final.

Feeling sorry for Matthew Stevens last night. Missed match pink and just couldn't get over the finishing line. Hope he doesn't go into another slump now and stays up the rankings where he belongs.

There's a few unexpected players up there with a big shout this year, especially Judd Trump, great first round win for him, but like most i'm a Ronni fan and hope he can hold it together through-out the 2 weeks, the thing for him is keeping his concentration level the same, he knows he has acres over every other player without a shadow of a doubt, but he just doesn't believe in himself that much and when he makes a mistake he lets his head slump and all goes down hill, time will tell what mood he is in this year as he has a tough route to the final!.
