Give it a chance ... it has only been a few days (which has included the easter weekend) and Nick has acknowledged the problems and indicated that they are being looked into.

I did a bit of testing for nick and found that the problem is when the game isnt conceded. So carom always has this problem. He is fixing it though

But it's taking it's time I would expect virgin media fix my internet over easter weekend if it broke as I pay for a service so why should I expect less of a snooker website?

You can always quit your contract with funkysnooker, si. that way you won't have to pay your monthly fees...

^ It is whinging because we all know theres a problem and the admins know theres a problem and Nick Knows theres a problem so what good does saying rubbish like that do. Comparing a small but excellent snooker site to that of Virgin when it comes to fixing problems is ridiculous but he probably thought he was being smart and clever when he wrote it.

LMAO are you serious? did you sign a contract with funkysnooker like you did with virgin? and do you pay a bill each month like you do with virgin?

You should think about what you're saying before you type it, thats made you sound like a complete prat. One of the funniest posts i've seen on here.

to be fair si is a premium member so is paying for it yearly (it could equally be divided by 12 and done monthly, that just seems to be nick's preferred way of doing it). So it's not quite the same as someone playing for free.

Yeah i know he's paid, just not quite the same as £60 a month, or am i missing something?

You know what to do in future anyway when premium runs out if you're not happy with the service, it's less than a pound a month tho for premium so to me it's something that wouldn't go a miss.

EDIT: I would happily pay the £10 a year myself if i was on here 24/7, but I'm hardly here so it would be pointless.

i suppose you could say that no-one has to pay to play as its free, however you could also go down to the library and use the internet there for free (if the service is available) so you wouldnt have to pay £60 a month . In both cases you are paying for convenience, its just upscaled so the theory should be the same.

However from what i have seen over the past year the staff get things solved as fast as they can, unlike my ex-ISP . Is it naming and shaming if i say who they were *cough* Tiscali *cough*.
