I don't know if this has been suggested before but i got an idea were you can have your own group to create your own tournaments and things like that instead of using to forum's group could be used in lots of ways like friendship groups as well.

Are you meaning like a normal tournament, but just with a select group of people that you want?

Off topic, but foul and a miss rule isn't possible as you need a ref to judge if they made a good enough attempt to get out of the snooker, which is impossible.

Can't say I'm overly fond of this suggestion as I can see it being a) open to abuse and b) detracting from the existing 'open to all' tournaments. In order to mitigate the abuse objection, the tournaments would basically have to be friendlies in which case there is nothing to be gained over and above the existing forum based events.

I don't think there's a way to implement the foul and miss. But, as a good way to stop cheating it would be good just to have the ball replaced if its fouls. It can be done pretty easily i think.
They have it on popgamebox.com snooker.
This would make people have to attempt the shot and make trying to get that perfect snooker more excitable.

true but is it possible on a 2D table as that table appears to be 3D.

I don't know if it's possible on 2D table but see no reason why it wouldn't be. Just if your on red and you hit colour it should be easy to detect you hit the wrong ball same as if you hit nothing. The game already recognises a foul because the play again option comes up. When a foul is detected the option of the player having another shot from where it finished or the re-spot should be available.
When i played popgamebox i found it to be a great addition to the game. All we have to do is call miss on each shot and any good attempts still wouldn't count. Still not a perfect system but would cut out the cheating.

as a premium member i enjoy all the perks ,, including my lucky cue ,but i miss the announcements on the side where the adverts used to be ! ( the thought of seeing my name appear made me keep trying .) would love to see some achievements keep scrolling without having to look for them... even if only on home page. thanks

It' s not foul and miss but next best thing. If you foul you have the option of the l the ball getting res-potted or the option of the player take the shot from where the ball finished. Same as we have now. No refs needed but just for the game to know that a foul has been committed say as when we get to put the player back in option. The only downside to this and it's a rare 1 is that if your in an impossible snooker. If this happens then say after 5 attempts they get the option of playing the ball where it lies after the final attempt to get out of it.

thing i would advise to put on, is a re rack button, but i was wandering, would this affect the ammount of playing time you would have in tournament ?
i mean if you were given a alert saying 5 minutes remaining and you both agreed to a re rack, would that affect the way the tournament draw plans out
