I like Punk as a face and heel, prefer face but the idea of a heel is to make people hate you. The Paul Bearer Tribute and Jerry Lawlers Heart Attack was good indications as you would think how can someone be that sick but you know they don't mean it as they are actors.

ive always preferred heels to faces with exception of HBK, Stone Cold, Rock.

Heels:

Triple H - Evolution I grew up in this era around 02
Undertaker - Ministry although i didn't watch it as a kid, youtube makes up for lost time
Vince - Wasn't really great as a face but a good heel
Edge - The whole Undertaker/Cena saga
JBL - Reign as WWE Champion and how he would cheat to win each match
Cena - Back in 03 when he was rapping, not keen on him as a face
Eddie - Although a face the whole Lie, Cheat and Steal in matches makes him seem like a heel
Y2J - Back in 03 when he hated Austin
Christian - "Excuse me, Intercontinental Champion over here"
Bischoff - The best RAW GM by a mile
Heyman - Same as Bischoff although Stephanie was good as well + Paul Bearer Abduction

If it's a bleacher report i wouldn't believe it at all, as they have been saying that for ages now but it aint happened.

Punk needs to be heel as he is the top heel in the business, him going face wont work as he will be no where near Cena as a Face as Cena as got all the little 3 year olds on his side

Punk is a better face than Cena but a much better heel. Most superstars are better as Heels with exception of a few

I prefer Punk as an heel, he as been an heel for 90% of his wrestling career.

In the Indy scene he was a very good heel and Heyman/WWE made him become an even better heel, when Punk is an heel he is the best heel by far on the WWE roster IMO

Punk maybe a better face than Cena sells the most merch so he will always be the top Face of the WWE.

As much as i despise Cena i think they might struggle to get a new Face of the WWE when he retires unless they mold someone like Ambrose, Rollins or an even newer guy into been the new Cena ASAP
