Yesterday In the Power Snooker Tournament. 5 entrants. In round 1 I played and won, 3 people got byes
In round 2, I played and won. But someone else got a bye
So in the Final I was against somebody who had not played a single game, they received 2 byes and directly to the final...
The Original Speeed Tournament taking place right now..
Charlie_Gal has a bye in round 1, and round 2, AND round 3. So Charlie Gal is in the semi final without playing a single game so potentially this person could Win the tournament by playing 3 games, when everybody else could of played 7. Isnt there a way to balance byes out? Like if you get a bye then you are at the back of the line to get a Bye in the next round etc??

Byes are completely random.
In relation to your above example, he was scheduled for a game against a person that didnt turn up. Thats could have happened to anybody.
And "everybody" else didnt play 7 since 14 people got byes over the first 3 rounds.

im guessing it calculates the amount of byes to get as many roundsout of the in tourny as possible.

It calculates the byes to get as many as possible in the first round so that people are no byes in later rounds.
If you look at any tournament there are only byes in rounds after the first if there are double DQ's. Double DQ's distort the numbers.
Say there is 32 in round one. There is no byes and 16 progress to round 2. If there is a double DQ only 15 go through so there is byes in the second round.
Or a more likely scenario. There is a considerable amount of byes in round one in an attempt to get proper numbers in round 2. Some of the people who got byes then go offline and the numbers for round 2 get distorted.
