seeing as we have Arcade and Original Marathons, is there any chance we could have a Regular one

What about Changing the 8pm Regular Tournament to a Regular Marathan Tournament for say a weeks Trial and see the levels of entrants.

wouldnt be a bad idea to be fair and reg micro to random maybe.

for random it should be lose newbie in one type rather than all so the entries can pick up as last time you could fill a micro quicker than a random but when its like that there isn't much point having it at all.

im sure reg marathon would get a lot of entries in the first week like all new tournaments

This seems like the best idea as of yet, and i don't mind doing it as its a prime spot.

And totally defy the point of non newbies entering ranked tournaments?

i was just thinking as last time only 5 entered at most and if it gets brought back we might only just get a couple more entries than before, if this is the case unless Random is made friendly i don't see a need to bring it back.

The regular tournament only bought in 19 participants yesterday, so i'll monitor this before doing anything.

i would enter but im balancing snooker and pool so i dont play as much and not really a tournament fan.

The Original Marathon doesnt get many entrants. It needs to be dropped back to a Normal Original Tournament or scrapped.

i dont see how changing it to a normal tournament will improve the numbers.

the morning one could be changed to speed and afternoon one could be a normal one.

Tournaments are meant to be the forefront of the site (as said by Nick)

I think that Marathons should be the forefront of tournaments, every game type should have some sort of longer tournament i feel. with a higher tournapoints or maybe even credit it as a Marathon win?

Normal Tournaments - 34
Marathon Tournaments - 4
Tournament wins - 38
