thing is though and ive highlighted this problem before, there not a fair/true stat due to this game being for fun, some players have many moments where they just hit balls and dont try!!

i do love your stats seb but they dont conclude the overall ability of a player!!!

like today brent has tried and got 3 maxxes, but the other day he really wasnt in the best mood and was just hit and hoping balls, playing for fun..in return though this effects the stat your using, but more importantly dosnt effect the actual ability!!

i agree with the top 5 players listed to be fair your all absolutely immense!!!

I do it endless amounts of time myself, the amount of frames i just start smacking balls for fun see what happens etc and in return makes me look alot worse of a player!!!

i was the first person to get 5 original maxes in 24 hours "8 mins" apparently. my max frequency used to be much less but now currently its much more frequent which i think was what dgen was on about when makin his opinion. like if i reset, my frequency wud probly look better. but whatever you only need a frame winning contribution to win. and maxes can be risky. and often cost frames going on for bad percentage max chances especially. but maxes are the most fun part for me lol.

Agreed- we all go for maxes when we have a chance. Everyone has good runs and bad runs. arpeggi had a run earlier this year where he hit about 10 maxes in 3 days. It's the consistency that counts.
Lee- I very much doubt that if you're presented with a max chance, you'll start smacking the balls around for fun.
Everyone plays games where they don't really try. I think over the course of several thousand frames, you can get a pretty good idea of skill.
That list (with damee in it) shows the best orig players, don't you think?

You can bring arguments against every stat. Just because someone scores more goals, doesn't mean he's a better striker. Just because someone hits more aces, doesn't mean he's the better server. Regardless, I think stats can give you a good rough guideline.

Oh and most importantly, once you reach a certain level, form decides who wins. All of the players in that list can clear a table, so form decides.

Don't really agree with the statistical side of your argument, for example I've only just recently started playing again in the last few months, and I'd say I've played about 200 games of orig (i dunno how many rough estimate), and I've had 12 maxes in that time. Back in the day it was a lot harder to make maxes and that's why my games-per-147 is so high as that was when i played about 2000 of my games. I know my stats probably don't really match up to Brent's, Damee's or Dest's etc, but I just wanted to make the point haha.

Then again, back in the day, friendlies were not part of the stats.
This means that all the old players have played countless more games than their stats really show- meaning it seems like they've become really good in a limited number of games, yet they've had many more for practice.

There are loads of arguments and counterarguments for this (using football again: back in the day, defenses were crap- Pele probably wouldn't have accumulated the 1000 goals in this age. Still stands...).
But no one else on this site comes close to the stats of the top people in that list, so I think it's a good rough guideline. can you find a player who hits more maxes that's not on this list?

No I meant compared to the others I'd like to see what us lot could get on other accounts but it's complete effort and I cba haha

Is anyone on that list not on their first account? I assumed because of the large number of games played by all.
If someone had a previous account- the stats in the table are of course better than what they should be.
