can someone please explain why i continue to get logged out during a game.to lose ranking points in this way is so annoying,this is happening to much,either the server can handle the traffic or it cant,this site seems to run in between

It has literally just happened to about 10 people in the space of 60 seconds. Loads of tournament disqualifications due to it.

I no nothing to why its happened to only a select few people including me twice.

I was in the chat room chatting away, my facebook was working fine, but my funkysnooker chat was 15/90 connecting. Then 38/90, 69/90 So I closed it.

I refeshed my funkysnooker tab, and it wouldnt load of anything, yet other broswers worked fine (BBC Football) and facebook was still working.

So should I be reinstalling Java? Or is it Firefox 6.1 Because I have just auto updated, so maybe everyone has?

Or is it just Funky?

i got logged out twice too, must have been a problem tonight.

This happened to me during the Power Snooker Tournament...

seems like a server issue.

Do remember, if it was a server issue *everyone* would have been logged out.

If only some are, it is likely a particular "thread of the web" went down. This can be anything from a random ISP losing power to a major cable break somewhere.

Obviously, it will affect some websites and not others. Telling whats ultimately to blame is nigh on impossible, but it is worth remembering the damage to infrastructure the likes of the recent events in the US can cause..

true but if half the members if affected?

ive noticed it before where half members was logged out every 10-15 mins or so and was only funky what wouldn't load.

think it was before nick changed hosts though

For example Java, Firefox, Chrome etc. Could something like this be an issue?

No it wasn't, because some people stayed online. When the server goes down, it affects everyone. It's a bit down the line where it happens.

Must be very close down the line.... rather often too.

a lot of people on pool got kicked off and know it wasnt my connection as google and msn was working.

It's not the server. It certainly isn't people's comps. Somewhere in between.
