Just a few suggestions I thought I'd share for theme changes. None of these will effect the performance of the site, but I feel they will make navigating around easier, and also make the look of the site more professional.
For userPanelLoggedIn
Remove the "Messages, Friends, Edit & Sign Out links.
Create a drop down menu on the members name which will display these links.
Where the current Sign Out link is, the Facebook "Like" & Google +1 buttons could go.
This would tidy that area up a bit and make it look more professional.
Remove the "Pool Games" link in the main navigation, and place it in the footer. It's not needed there & I think it just clutters the header area up.
Instead of a drop down menu for "Players", create a link to a separate page where there are more advanced searching options.
Expand the width of the container slightly. This will allow for easier to read "About Me" areas,
Add a theme changer on members profile pages, so rather than going into the "Edit Profile" page, you'll be able to quickly select the colour theme you want directly on your page. The colour pickers could be displayed similar as I have on my own forum.

I like the player navagation one but that be the hardest to do i imagine?
You are going to get far in life jack_pot you are always thinking of ways to improve things, Rather than the old "if it aint broken, it don't need fixing.

They're all pretty easy to implement to be honest. It would just be a case of making a couple of edits here and there.
Adding a JQuery drop down menu in my opinion would be very nice to have.
I think something like this:
http://www.tuttoaster.com/wp-content/uploads/demos/3/navigation.html
Would look fantastic.

The advance player option is one which crops up regularly which would be nice to see.
I think putting the funkypool link at the footer would be a bad idea, much easier there linking the sites instead of just stuck at the bottom (how many people actually look at the footer on these pages?)

I doubt many people actually click that link to go to FP.
On most sites on the internet, affiliate links, or links to other sites in general, if needed, are added in the footer.

I'm not saying get rid of it. Only moving it to a more appropriate area.
You may use it all the time, but I would put a bet on you being part of a small majority who do.
I bet a lot more people use the Contact Us page, yet that is placed in the footer as it shouldn't be included in the main navigation.
The main navigation should have the most important links within the site. At the minute, the Pool Games link sticks out like a sore thumb. It doesn't need to be moved, it's not a huge deal, but it was a suggestion worth taking note of.

no worries, i rarely use contact us as 99% out of 100 you know what reply to expect.

Yeh I don't imagine most of the "old schoolers" do use it. At least I don't. But I bet a lot of new comers use it quite a lot.

yeah as most people don't know how to play or play a certain game type, most newcomers don't check the help centre either

I think this sites layout is pretty great as it it tbh. Don't think it needs any changes.

It would still be the same layout, just with easier navigation & a nicer feel.

I like everything you mentioned there Jack.
That's why in all fairness I like alot of your work as it's never full of clutter if it's not needed move it aposed to get rid of it.
Also the advanced search is crucial thing to have if you ask me, say me and you got talking and I needed message you but forgot your whole surname atleast I could type in 'Jack' and alot of them would show up untill I found the correct 1
Also I don't change my theme ever but anything that can make something easier i'm always intreaged in.

Thanks for the feedback Si.
I've suggested the advanced search feature before but nothing happened, so I don't think anything ever will, but figured I'd suggest it again anyway.

If I'm honest, I have a slight OCD issue, for example I clean my mouse after each frame. Little things like that can really frustrate me but the sites layout seems fine.
I don't mind if there is changes but as a few of the lads have said, the funkypool tab needs to stay. I have never googled funkypool since I found funkysnooker. I just switch via the tabs.
Should be a notepad on your homepage though. Would be located where the targets are. It would be used for clan fixtures and anything funky-related. I know there is an "about me" but that isn't designed for jotting down clan/event fixtures.

I agree, a notepad would be very useful to have. I think a better location would be in the Edit Profile page.
In fact I don't think that page should be named "Edit Profile", as the profile refers to your actual profile page, whereas the Edit Profile page has a lot more options.
In my opinion it should be named either Account Settings, or User CP (for control panel).
Another suggestion I forgot to mention was to get rid of those disgraceful looking tournapoint awards. They're huge, LQ, & take up half of the profile page.
I'll post an example of what I think they should look like when I get back from uni this afternoon.

Here's a scrappy example of what I mean for the header:
And I'll post an example of the tournapoints trophies soon.

2 things i would add
1. The "Home" tab could also go I think, as clicking the logo above it performs exactly the same action .
2. If you click on the help tab and click on "who are the moderators", it tells you which game room any online moderators/admins are in. I feel it could be changed to say "browsing" if any are browsing as well. That way if you had an urgent query and the only mods around were browsing you could offline message them.
On the original points, I would like to see the pool games tab move elsewhere, when im browsing on my phone i regularly click it by accident and end up on the dark side. The advanced search would be a great idea, i regularly forget names, including my own sometimes.
