I've been doing online surveys for the past 6 months or so and thought I'd post about it here for anyone else who is interested in doing them.
What are they?
Online surveys are conducted by Market Research companies on behalf of their clients, to get customers views on their products and services.
How do you do them?
There are literally hundreds of websites that you can sign up to and take surveys. Once registered, you will receive emails from them with a link to a survey.
What's in it for me?
For each survey you complete, you will be rewarded with credits (either in cash form or points form). Surveys typically pay between 50p and £1, however, more complex, longer surveys will pay more. When you reach a certain amount, generally £10 (though with some sites it's £20) , you can cashout to recieve gift cards or money via PayPal.
I started doing surveys in April and am a member of about 40 websites. All in I have earned £85 (both high street and Amazon gift vouchers). Perfect for Christmas!
Here are a few of the best websites

Happy earning!

I love survey websites great way to make money. (I don't do them now but 18 and wanted abit more cash I tried them)
Few years back me and a mate tried to create our own but it got abit difficult along the way so never finished it
But yeah espicially in the spare time take 5 minutes from Snooker and fill in 2/3 and like you said great way to give out Christmas Presents

In the last 6 months you have made £85? Granted it is better than a kick in the rear but not really a worthwhile return for the effort put in is it?

Not bad for a couple of hours work a night though.
Surveys are not some sort of get rich quick scheme. It's just a way to make some extra pocket money.
Show me a better way to make loads of money legitimately and I'll try it

haha. Doubt you'd get in. You can't register with them like you would with any other website. You need to find one of their banner ads on the internet and wait for them to recruit you. Took me 6 months to get in
