cant find snooker on carom 3d.
Did you download the game? You have to download it and then log in.
Then you select one of the servers with 'snooker' in it. I only ever hit a couple of shots there to see what it was like.

The problem with having it so that the cue ball on the cushion would mean topspin only is that if you are playing a shot along the cushion, you can hit with backspin. Consequently the spin you would be allowed to do would be dependent on the direction you were shooting and would have to change as you moved the cue round... which is rather complicated.

if funky snooker had a "sister" site for over 18s to play for money that would make my dreams come true. cos funky is the best gameplay ive played so far. imagine it, exhibition games, (funky could charge rake on every frame and make unlimited money) funky world championship etc. think this could be another thread. maybe another time. perfect market to invest in. if i had the money and cpu knowledge i'd do it myself lol. someone do it! been waiting like 3 years for a decent site to make one. so annoying cos they got pool, poker and pretty much all other stuff. can find loads of casino/gambling sites where youre destined to lose your money. but no snooker . such a shame. it would be huge. it wouldn't conflict with this site being a family site either. times ticking. no need for a handicap thing either poker doesnt do that. didnt want to bring this up cos i wanted to make one myself. but meh. i'm shocked this hasn't been done already. it's what we want. you know pokerstars made ridiculous money in rake per day before americans were banned. snooker's growing by the day.....just make a terms and conditions saying you don't get refunds for lag and disconnections, and have 2/3 mins to log back on or you lose ......i'm tired of the torture of playing poker and this would be perfect for me. so gotta try these things.

well, I saw right away that it's very realistic! I just didn't like it enough to challenge funky at all, so never bothered further.

Funny enough- now all the poker sites are getting sued for massive fraud schemes. Luckily, I took my money out a while ago...

when playing a cushion shot most of the cue would be off the table so if you could somehow make it so the computer knows that then i think we're in the clear.

it's their own fault. they should've saw the lawsuit coming. they're apparently still not convinced poker's a game of skill which it obviously is. you only have to look at people's stats like mine to see that lol. i'd have to be one of the luckiest people in the world. and they should've known the authorities don't like changing their minds on their decisions and it wasn't made clear that they'd decided it was a skill game. so i think it was stupid to let americans play in the first place when that law is in place. so its either rigged to help players like me or it's a skill game take your pick. don't think they'd rig it if they were already making a million like every day legitimately. although sometimes i have my suspicions. the win percentages certainly aren't rigged, maybe the way they deal the cards if anything cos it's a bit weird to me. you don't profit after 25000 tounaments to luck unless you win 1 massive tournament that's more than you lost. which didn't happen. i'm not even that good at poker compared to some of the geniuses out there. but luckily for me i've finally found a consistent way to win.

I don't think it's rigged. The lawsuit basically says that sites (primarily Full Tilt) were raiding the accounts of members in order to pay their executives and stars (Lederer, Ferguson, etc). They apparently have about $60million left to cover $390million in players' accounts...

think it;'s cos they have to pay tax on winnings in america so it was hard to keep track of it. but surely they could've found a way around it. quite harsh imo. especially when the majority of players by far are losing players. shouldn't have to pay tax. it's hell enough not paying tax on it.

Gambling is not allowed in the US, except in casinos. There are no bookies in the US. Sports-betting is only legal in Las Vegas, not even Atlantic City; exception- horse racing.
Poker is defined as gambling there (there are ongoing lawsuits/legislation that argue about this). Money laundering is why accounts were frozen- no one has been paid out since.
But yeah, the most recent lawsuit is based on the different sites taking out members' money to pay their executives. Not looking good.
