Mate, just because Liverpool have a good history doesn't mean they should be right up there competing for the league. The Carling Cup doesn't really set pulses racing and when they won the Champions League in 05 they were competing for the league right up there with Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Now though everything's changed and they aren't the force they used to be, even top 4 would be an achievement for them this season realistically. They can't even think of winning the league at this point in time.

Sahin to Liverpool seems to be done. That could be a very good signing- he was a demon in Germany two years ago and a big part of Dortmund winning the title two seasons ago.

Watch out for Sunderland this season.

To be fair, as a neutral you'd probably say that. Coming from a Sunderland fan's point of view though he's exactly the sort of player we need, he can hold the ball up and put the ball in the net, and considering the delivery he is going to get coming from McClean, Johnson and Sessegnon there is every chance he could get 15+ goals this season (and as well it was 12 million but still).
