I take it you don't realise how many members there are on the site, theres new people joining all the time so the sites never really going to lose members no matter what updates.

It's very few members that complain about the updates out of thousands thats why you never see updates been reversed.

Uh huh, sigh, but as a BUSINESS, its the RETURNING players that generate revenue. The players who are here all the time, who click the adds, who buy premium memberships, that make money. So its NOT the thousands of players that come and go that nick wants to please. Yes as players they will be, but they certainly wont have as much input or thoughts on all ideas funky related. Its with the focus on the regulars ,and making they're experience as good as possible that makes Nick money as a business.

The usual, when someone runs out of things to contribute, they criticize spelling.
But yeah, moaning about people who are moaning is a bit hypocritical.

A damning indictment of our education system

Perhaps we could all bring this thread back to the original topic, namely the most recent updates.

If you have constructive comments about the changes, they are welcome here. If you wish to argue about spelling and punctuation, take it elsewhere please.

Although it's nice to see updates being made, I feel you (Nick) seem to have this sites priorities all wrong.

These updates are minor, and if I'm honest, are the sort of updates that don't really need to be announced. They're changes which should be constantly being made in the background, (the About Me limit increase is a prime example).

I really think you and the other Admins need to have a good long and hard look through the threads made in this section as there are probably hundreds of fantastic suggestions which have gone completely unnoticed.

The biggest change I've seen here in the past, probably about 6 months, is the site theme change, which let's be honest, although nice, isn't really needed.

also a minor idea but helps within clan league how about the ability to Search within a Thread?

e.g. Your looking for season 14 results from last season but buried due to other information (e.g. clan signups, info within the season).

If you search within the forum section with the right keywords certain posts should come up anyway

its only limited for the first 20 though which sometimes isn't enough

i find it handy as sometimes when on game server i rarely look at the forum despite having it open in a new tab so it i get an alert when i get one
