I suspect this is a popup blocker. Chrome and maybe Firefox has recently changed to . Check the top of the window for popup blocks.

Where would I find this please, as at the top of my window it doesn't mention pop ups or pop up blockers.

For Chrome it would be at the top right of the parent window (top right above the game). A small cross should be visible. There should be an option to always allow popups from funkysnooker.

Any chance these could be recorded in a stat somewhere Nick?
e.g.

highest score: 70
highest today: 70
occurences: 2
scores of 40+: 4
scores of 60+: 4 (60 seems the logical step on from 40)
runs of 8+: ...

I do like this carom thing, but it would be interesting to see how games are affected for 2 player carom.

I don't want to appear thicker than normal but could someone explain why these announcements for "practice" Carom are being made, when to my knowledge, we have never had "practice" announcements for any other discipline ?

Well I presume it's because that to get a run in practice carom is just as hard as in a game (with the snooker games, you can split them up and tap them over the corner in practice)

Ah I see, but couldn't something along the lines of successful shots made, make it harder for people who want to do that ?

i.e Practice break of 78, successful shots 7 out of 8

Nick, just for a possible future update ... You know when you enter a match you were too late to watch and have to wait for the next frame before you are able to watch, can you make it possible to see the score and current break and how much is left on the table and get updated every 30 seconds or whatever like on the "world snooker" site? Saves us from constantly asking the players or having to wait an age. Just a thought, thanks
