Like cue_power said, we should have the tournament win streak and regular win streak with Point's won and games won...like those idea's best

The 50 point thing wouldn't work for 2 reasons.

1. People would just reset then batter loads of 600s to get a good streak.
2. At one point I was 70 points clear of anyone in killer, so none of my wins would have counted... bit harsh I think! I'm sure this has happened in other types too.

It also doesn't matter how far back it goes, if you start counting now, then you just add 1 to the number on your about me every time you win, then when you lose reset it to 0 and store it if it's higher!

yep a better idea, check your results page when you come offline from game server and you can store your current and highest streak, checking after each game can provide a distraction.

in this day of age, i think we can do a bit better than counting up on our fingers and toes??
Besides, i could just say, digpot - win streak 2500, and how could you disprove this?
Its a simple fun stat, easy to implement and useful, should be a feature

no but it can be flawed as you can beat 1000 Novice's who can't pot for toffeee or 100 virtuoso's which one would be more prestige? for me its the virtuoso's, thats why i disagree as anyone can beat 10,000 novices just to boost score and ego and not a true reflection of your ability.

difference is you gain less rank beating a novice than a virtuoso where as win streak is the same, a way round it which wouldn't be popular is for 800+ add 1 win 700+ 0.75 win 600+ 0.5 win and 500+ 0.25 of a win towards your win streak so beating 1 professional would be same as beating a 600 2 times or a novice 4 times

First, I don't think any qualification is needed for win streaks. A win streak is just that- a series of wins. It doesn't matter how difficult it is or who it is against. You will get loads of resetters here who might be virts and people who are vastly overrated.

Second, If you really want to qualify it, just put the average rank of the opponents in brackets behind the run:
