No, great arcade players are great arcade players!
I don't consider ste one of the best overall. He's among the best arcade players.

A better player would be someone who is good at all game types but that isn't too say you aren't good if you can only play arcade.

In a way I would say that to be one of the best arcade players is a fantastic achievement as there are also lots more brilliant arcade players out there, more competition.

agreed, those who just play arcade i leave in own section, same with those who only play Reg, Orig etc, the really great players are the ones who can switch types and still be consistent where as the good players stick to one game mode.

Arc - ste_efc, cam, tyler
Car - fuzzy
Over - Seb (All except Car), destiny (All), damee (All), adam_147 (All except Pow), sean (Arc, Reg, Orig only)
Reg - sarahh, suspiria, banana
Orig - brentologist, arpeggi, chase475

of course not all of these are as good as the robots but tried to put them in types they play most.

pfffft, my top 20 in success % without resetting is not enough to consider me a carom player according to mr. dgeneratio

no, that's what I'm saying lol. Half the people in the top 20 have reset, so their % doesn't include them learning carom.

yeah if i never reset i would probably be about 40% now instead of the 43% currently but still i rarely see you play carom thats why i didn't include you

yep, not as good as i was in 2010 ish still my Regular isn't bad despite not playing it much

Success % below 40 doesn't make you a good caromer. I play power but I don't claim to be a good power player, my games played per cent is awful, so dgen fully justified with (all except power) for me.

nah was types players play the most and their best type at same time

i rarely see seb or sean play carom so i didn't include them but if it was based on types you play most it would be...

me - Orig/Carom
sean - Arc/Reg/Orig
seb - Orig/Power
cam - Arc/Reg
adam - Reg/Carom

my personal opinion anyway

to be fair, he's ranked 42 in success %. If you're above 40-45%, that is the very top!
