Personally if you are talking about players right at the top of a game, then for me the standards are:

Arc: Very good games/107 ratio
Reg: Have a 147
Orig: Have a 147
Carom: 50+ %
Power: 200 break.

If you don't have them then you might be good, but you aren't at the top in my books .

So would only consider 8 players ever to be top at carom?

Yes. Given how few people play it, 8 is quite a lot.

I've done it twice on this account and on dumb_duck.. I can't think of names off the top of my head but I swear there are a ton more that have..

With the new carom practice game though I would set a new standard of a score of 60+ on that to be classed as at the top.

I'm sure Dom did get over 50 once. Maybe my memory is just poo though. I wouldn't say that it's really that difficult though.. All it takes is a week of being on top form. 500 turns isn't that many.

hard to say for individual types as i could include a couple in a few types.

Overall - Main Robots - Seb, Dest, Damee (i class those 3 the same above everyone else).

Arc - i_am_touched, i_am_blessed, sean (ste_efc back in his day but not at the moment), plus anyone who can hit 107s frequently.

Reg - n_e_r_d, banana, damee (i_am_god if he came back) and anyone who can hit cents frequently

Orig - sean, seb, damee (brentologist/chase/peg/dest < would be up there if came back properly) and anyone who can hit cents frequently

Carom - Adam, Fuzzy, Etarvt (Curt/Derry/Dest if they came back) and anyone who can hit 10+ frequently

Power - ill_be_there, mrmagic, seb, slatty, damee

probably missed loads but hard to think of hundreds of usernames.

Just remember "jack_pot" and you'll be ok.
