i prefer Snooker Plus anyway on the Orig Table, would be harder to get the max as you would need to be near blue spot all the time for added accuracy.

If anything, Inplant a game on any table apart from Orig

Orig is so unpopular lol

Must be on the Arcade table if its going to get a large number of players playing it

Regular, then Orig players would play it too, Orig is unpopular because its the most challenging game mode (like Carom), people like the easy way out.

If the majority of games are implemented on arcade i would probably play it until i reached pro or something then play Orig or Carom like before.

this game should be challenging rather than have something handed on a plate.

If a game mode (Snooker Plus) was released for Orig and something else for Arcade i wouldn't mind as pleasing both sides.

Since when is orig unpopular?
It's much easier for me to get an orig game than a reg/carom/power game at any time.

Just out of interest, is straight snooker like straight pool where you just keep potting balls, or does the order continue so you pot the 15 reds+colours, colours then the reds re-rack when you are on the black? If the latter, do the balls score their normal amounts or does it just count as a "pot"? i.e. is the aim to pot as many balls as possible, or to get the highest break possible?

this needs answering first

I think either of those aims of the game would be great. You could have it where there are just 15 reds racked on the reg table and you play like you do on pool but i think that would be too easy. Plus that isn't really snooker.

Adam's second suggestion was more what I had in mind where the aim is to just pot balls. Reds and colours count as 1 point but you still follow the order red, colour, red, colour etc. Then just pot the colours in their usual order. When on the black the balls re-rack.

Couple of reasons why I disagree with straight snooker:

1) Currently, all game types on FunkySnooker are real, would be quite odd having this addition.
2) It renders "snooker" pointless? Colours have no meaning or relevance.
3) Surely players can just do this in practice mode?
4) I'd like think FunkySnooker is the "classier" site compared with FunkyPool. Lets keep having to actually use our brains!
5) The thought of straight snooker makes me
6) Loss of any safety play. Tapping becomes more prominent.

Probably be back soon with more straight snooker opposition. May decide to lead the NO campaign if an election ever takes place.

I understand your every point but you wouldn't have to play it. I think it would be a nice change from the usual game of snooker.

I could possibly see why it would benefit new players, learning how to pot etc. but then again it may confuse them playing snooker, but not, if that makes sense haha

Personally i think this is a great idea, but perhaps best on the regular table really. Even though some people are against it that doesnt mean it shouldnt be implemented. Even on a trial basis to see how well it does. I enjoyed straight over on pool and now im playing more on here with the diff tables i think it would be good for the site.

100% with you on that mate, and it would be great for the site. I think it would be popular.

I like the idea of having infinite possibility on the break or run you could achieve. The only problem is I'm not sure what the rules would be as someone stated earlier. Whether there would be 15 reds and you just keep potting as you would on pool or whether the balls are set up as usual and they re-rack when you are on the final black and the points add as normal breaks rather than 1 point per ball potted.

Maybe you should try out power snooker.

Haha! I guess it would be extremely similar to power but with out the 15 minute time limit, no powerplay or powerzone.

People keep suggesting this but no-one has actually stated what the rules would be, it's great suggesting a concept but it needs some actual substance!
