Right, as if you didnt know anyway, i'm not actually Jimmy White LOL, I know I fooled some though...!
I am actually Ian, aged 28, a PE teacher from Malvern near Worcester. (Stormforce and Scotty2hotti can vouch for this!)
So, why am I telling you this?
Well, formal intro aside, I am appealing to the good natures of my fellow funky folk...
This coming Sunday, April 22nd, I will be running the London Marathon!!
I last did it aged 17 back in 2001, taking about 4 hours 11 minutes, but that was 11 years, 6 stone, and a hell of a lot of cigarettes ago!!
I am raising money for something i've called the The 'Clo-Jo' Campaign, following my 10 year old niece Chloe's diagnosis of a brain tumour back in November.
Please visit www.virginmoneygiving.com/IanAlley and if you can, it would be wonderful if you could kindly sponsor my run by hitting the 'donate' link on the site.
Anything, big or small, is wonderful, and is greatly appreciated by Birmingham Children's Hospital (which is in a bad state of disrepair) and VICTA (Visually Impaired Children Taking Action) - the money donated to 'The Clo-Jo Campaign' is going to these charities!
Thank you for reading, and if you can, please do...!
