Nah two weeks at most, ill be at my mums so i have a computer to play on, but only times i would be able to play is afternoon ish and then past midnight.

Just had a rather poor first session of the semi with adam.

I won the frame after his 68 break in the first, when I needed a snooker.
We then missed several cent chances each in the next few frames.
adam hit a scrappy but nice 111 at one point.
The final frame was godawful from everyone involved. We each fluke it safe (me about 3 times), missed easy shots, and wasted chances. I topped it off by missing the last blue from the spot to the middle. -_-

Should get better next time lol.

Safety play wasn't bad though . Seb put 3/4 breaks behind the yellow, I put 2/3 safe behind the green. Seb of course got the snooker nicely to win the first. Also when seb missed the blue in the last frame he left it on the jaw of the opposite middle, and i managed to just about get the clue ball safe enough on the jaw that he couldn't pot it.

Other than that, not much in the way of highlights. A couple of sebs halfs/clearances came with the reds not spread very nicely and he developed them well to continue the break. I managed to double 2 reds from the pink spot to the middle in 2 frames (one led to the 111). Fair bit of bad luck both ways running out of position by fractions, but equally that could be called sloppy positional play by us both!

Not great games for the spectators, a lot of baulk colours potted by us both, I think there was a reluctance to give the opponent any chances both ways so played very safely. I remember one frame the black had rub into the bunch and was sat perfectly to plant into the top left and seb was at the table. In friendly play, would have been a gentle shot, run the black up to the pocket and tap it in, in this though, he avoided it like the plague in case it went off too hard! You know the one I mean seb???

In conclusion, the only way is up! .

I got out played for the most part of this, had a chance or two to get some frames but made stupid mistakes or just failed completely. All honesty i never even deserved the frame i got, Dave miss a weird black to leave me to clear up. Should have been a 5 - 0. Very well played mate and a nice guy, good luck in the next round
