Hi, I am Ian ( MK_Lads) Sister.
Can I start by saying thank you for your kind words on the R.I.P page.
Can I ask a small favour of you? If you could would you please tell the people on the funkypool site that his family are very grateful for the special event you are holding for Ian.
It is an incredibly difficult time for the family but we can find some comfort in the tributes that are being left for Ian.
He really was a lovely man.
Thank you,
Tracey

Oh my God. I only left for two months, and something disastrous happens? I am literally speechless. I am crying, and left wondering what the world has in store for all the wonderful people here.
R.I.P Ian. It was a great privilege to have called you my workmate, my clan-mate, my friend, etc. Thoughts are with the family.

RIP Ian.
Never knew him really, but spoke once or twice and he was a very sound lad.
Will be sadly missed

This is a pure shock
RIP MK_Lad
My thoughts are with the dark times for your family.
My thoughts are also willing the speedy justice needed for such a violent attack.

I dedicate my win in the mk_lad tribute tournament to the man himself.
Just checked his profile - to think he was knocking in half cents just a few months ago.
RIP mate

thought you all would like to know they have charged 5 people with ians murder i hope theses scum will all get what they diserve
Five people have denied the murder of a man who suffered serious head injuries outside a pub in Great Yarmouth.
Ian Church, 40, who lived in the town, died two days after an incident outside the Bricklayers Arms on 5 May.
Todd Esherwood, 24, Tony Smith, 29, and Stuart Layden, 30 - all of Great Yarmouth - and Kelly Taylor, 33, and Roy Smith, 31, both of Sheerness, Kent, all appeared at Norwich Crown Court.
All five will next appear on 7 September.
Mr Esherwood, of Saxon Road, Mr Smith, of Sidney Close, and Mr Layden, of South Quay, had previously been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
Mr Smith, of Ranelagh Road, Sheerness, had faced the same charge, while Ms Taylor, of Harris Road, Sheerness had also been charged with actual bodily harm in relation to the incident.
These were all superseded by a murder charge put to each of them when they appeared at Norwich Crown Court earlier.
A 43-year-old man arrested in connection with Mr Church's death remains on police bail.

No sentence can bring true justice to all this. They should all be subjected to the same they put Ian through.
