how can we get the mods to stamp this out

not gonna name any1 but was in the final of the original speed event 1-1 in frames 2reds left and then the begging starts

yes before all u say block the comments or ignore the user but theres 3 minutes 10sec clock to go im on a break with reds in the open potentially game winning then i get these comments man there bloody of putting

any1 got any suggestions on how these people could at least get penalized for doing this...

I agree completely. Is there an option in the complaint system for poor sportsmanship? I was on a max around 73ish and someone said the typical "gg, should get 147 easy" and it is so distracting.

The only way to get people from not doing this is have a option to minimise the chat area or completely remove it.

Why there is not a option for this, i don't know, i usually put my self off from replying to people in a game lol

or u can stick every single person on funky on ignore lol

well they are asking you to cheat by saying please let me win? soo id send the chat to admin and they should get a warning about doing it in future

I think you made this thread because you lost the game and the tournament i do agree though, that kind of begging is a bit off putting, especially in a speed tournament as you dont have much time to do anything before you need to shoot again.

Simple answer..

Remove your friend list.. and dont accept PM'S

and when you play someone, stick them on ignore until after the game

when ur in 10 sec final its not easy considering they dont speak during the game .. its not till the end when there comments flash on screen its so bloody unreal esp from a player of his so called quality

Just start naming them because I don't see why the idiots that ruin the game deserve a 'protective barrier' around them excusing them from being made a mockery of. That tinie_tempah lad used to do it to me all the time. Quite pathetic really.

How does it ruin the game exactly?? Surely it can't put you off that much. Seems to me like you're just looking at someone to blame for you losing.

Yes it's unsporting behaviour but if somebody typing something affects the way you play then that's your own problem.

Then it clearly has less effect on you than me, that's just an ignorant comment. I don't really care for winning or losing. It annoys me when I'm distracted and lose as a result of it.

However that isn't the part of it which needs dealing with the most. It's when the comments escalate from the typical early gg to personal insults, which often happens. That is when it usually puts me off most.

Funny how my post was removed, don't understand why you cant name the people who do this in turn making people not want to play against the sort of people that do this type of thing.

Exactly. We can't report this type of thing so what else are we supposed to do?

before the post was removed i had a moderator, not naming no names , telling me to remove the comment and when i refused to he said he would get admin to do it. if we cant name people who do it atleast give us another option ..
