The killer vote was done Saturday. Killer is staying.

Don't know why it's only just occurred to me, but what is the points system in the cup groups? Is it just on frames won or is it like a 2 points for a fixture win, 0 for a loss thing?

not sure but i think a football system is better as by frames clans could win with a match in hand

Simply fixture wins. If it's tied, frames count. So unplayed frames do go to defaults.

For the Golden Cue:
Each clan plays a minimum of 10 league games and 3 cup games (assuming the clan finishes 3rd in the group and then loses the plate semifinal).
That's 75 frames minimum.
Once a player plays 60% of games, he/she appears on the Golden Cue list. That would mean 45 frames.
Any objections?

Just on the website and my 123 or whatever break in power is not on the breaks thing, is it only the top 5 that go on there?
07:00 Thu 18 Apr 13 (BST) [Link]
Yeah, only the top 5 in the highest breaks tables.
Your break is of course included in the Bonus Table.

With subs... can a player only play once in each group of fixtures?
22:47 Fri 19 Apr 13 (BST) [Link]
They can only play once in a fixture, but obviously if you have more than one fixture they can play more than once. The only exception is anyone can be in the team for killer, regardless of if they have already played that opponent. Hope that answers your question!

Yes it does, cheers mate

This idea came to me as we were playing killer with Total Domination
Adam_147 potted the white without even trying to pot another ball(which he cud have) to leave his player sean_paul(i think) with ball in hand so he could snooker lauren_ali so he could kill her and they would have got 6 points
What got me thinking was that potting the white without even attempting to pot/hit a red/black is a bit like someone in a snooker and pushing out(which is banned).
I know you will all say its part of killer(i agree to an extent) but in my opinion its even more unsporting then tapping up to a red to give the opponent an harder shot(if on 1 life).
Does anyone else agree that just potting the white(without attempting to pot another ball) and giving your player an easier shot at snookering someone should be a banned shot?

By the way i aint bitter that they did it, if i was smart enough i would have done it by now and someone else might have posted this rather long essay.

To clarify- the current situation is that everything is allowed in team killer.
If enough people would like this to change, then I have no problem with implementing changes for next season (or the current season theoretically).

Yeah but how do you know for sure it has happened, it could be in some circumstances the losing team saying it knowing they can gain penalty points from it or could be a touchpad problem(happened to me earlier on pool), or any number of things.

If you are going to ban that shot, you may as well get rid of killer as it's removing teamwork completely. One of the aims of team killer is to have players in good positions holding lives back to sacrifice them to finish them game.

agree with adam it is a smart shot in my view. i used to get rattled but i realise you do whatever you need to help get the win.
pushouts are illegal in real snooker but not sure on the official killer rules but my guess is it is allowed
