It's not good tactics no, It's poor sportsmanship and if anything poor tactics if thats what they have to do to win games...

How can fouling be good tactics? It's signs of a poor player imo if they can't find other ways to win games..

I don't mind when people do it to me to be honest, I just make them take again. It's just a poor tactic in my opinion...and very unsporting

I'm an average player at best and It's not something I need to do to help me win games, so it just shows how poor people are who do it..

I do anything I can to win a game. Cheating is fun and it's even more fun when your opponent gets annoyed by it.

Fact is it is not against the rules and another fact is there is nothing you can do about it at the end of the day. Most people play to win and at any cost so you cant really fault them for that, why come on online and go into a game thinking im going to lose, it would be pointless playing.

thats how i learned to be a good player, watching destiny play and at times he would give me advice on shots etc. once on arcade he took 30 seconds to explain each shot to try and get a max which i failed of course lol.

if it wasn't for the constant thrashings and energy sappings then i might not be as good as i was (am today)

unfortunately there isn't much anyone can do about this situation as you would need a computer generated referee which i don't think is possible but i think if this does happen then these options should appear.

- Take Shot Yourself

after the game stick your opponent on ignore, it doesn't help in tournaments but least you remember the name.

Saying that i would recommend practising Carom if it bothered you too much as you can't really cheat in carom except the lag shot (where people go in opponents half instead of up and down).

totally agree with dgen, play more carom fgs!

We could review the rules and agree the best options. Many times the majority have agreed with ideas that would improve the situation.

Real snooker is all about fair play, the rules that exist in the real game are there to promote fair play. The players abide by fair play despite the rules not fully forcing it, on an on-line game fair play clearly doesn't come into it, so imo the rules should take further steps to force it. If you don't agree with this statement I suggest you watch Woody's video!

Got to a pathetic point where I have to ignore most people that I play with in a game as so many people cheat and put you off!! . It's just a game and people take it too seroiuosly to try and win I mean grow up lol

No offense mate but in my opinion, the person complaining takes the game a lot more seriously than the person who's cheating and putting you off.
I put people off all the time, not because I want to win but because I find it funny when they get mad because they take the game so seriously.

I didn't complain to them though I put them on ignore loljack_pot

yes i just played a guy a snookered him 3 times and he tapped out 3 times when he could clearly hit reds
