Tense tense frames throughout, great player to battle against as always. Every one was a tactical minefield, patience won out 99%, the final score a good reflection.

The decider was another Original, score ended up 86-36, funnily enough the only poor frame of the whole match.

Personally amazed to have won, and against such tough opponents, none more so than The Lord himself.

The Player's Championship will begin this week.

Nobody needs to sign up. Everyone that is in a clan will be signed up automatically, unless they post here or message me that they don't want to play.

Since dbno is the defending champion, was only released from Legends recently, and is still relatively active, I will include him in the tournament.

If you can't get your opponent to play, please post on the Player's Championship thread. If neither player posts, both will be disqualified when the game goes to defaults! This is important- you must post for the default even if your opponent is off the entire time. This can be done at any time.

The top two seeds have got a rather easy draw

Lol last seaons winner Dbno wont be competing in this to defend his title...

But. Why is this "seeded"? Surely if its to be seeded that means the Top 16 players should get the byes until seeds have to enter due to numbers? Doesnt make any sense?

Much like in Football the FA Cup/League cup if ya like.. the "big boys" dont enter the competition until Round 3... why is this different here? Makes last seasons players whom got to the latter stages a bit pointless. Why would the defending champion and finalist be entered in Round 1?? along with 3 quarter finalists?

Personally think this needs changing. You have 16 seeds, who shouldnt enter the competition Until the Round of 32 where you have 16 seeds and 16 non seeds.


And then have the top drawer and bottom drawer...

Besides even in the rules it states
Top 16 in Rankings will get BYES if we have enough numbers, starting with number one downwards, also those colour coded green are those on the rankings list

As in previous seasons, it is a completely random draw, with the exception that the top 16 finishers from last season can not face each other until the 4th round. There is no further benefit other than that.
Everyone competes for the title with the same starting point each season other than that benefit.

The 'seeds' just doesnt make sense. Essentially they arent seeds if they are in Round 1,, Round 2. Ithink the issue is clearly with calling them seeds, and numbering them 1-16 in order of how they finished the previous year, as that gives the impression that dbno is the number 1 seed and the top player to topple... yet, he has no privileges as the defending champion.

I think overall, it would make a far greater competition if it was Properly seeded, with the round of 32 being the 16 seeds vs 16 non seeds... rather than the current random, which is the same as Clan Indiv.

Besides, the rules ive just shown you, are the Original format i think.. so bloody implement it Seb!

Also Snooker Legends have more representives in Round 1 than any other team... just like in the Clan Indivs.... are you trying to stiff us for dominating last season

PS. Dbno wont be competing, hes overseas for a few months, hence why he departed Legends.

We originally thought about making it completely unseeded/random, because we want everyone to have the same chances of winning this. The only thing we wanted to avoid was to have last season's finalists playing each other, by preventing the chance of them being drawn against each other.
I can change that again for next season- I've done it this way since dgen's internet went off last year and I started running this.

About the draws- you need to speak to the creators of challonge.com, they seem to dislike Legends!

reg 1-1 (1 cent for me)
orig 2-0 (no breaks)

^2 points for each frame
1 point for each half
2 points for each cent
