As you will know well enough now this has been going for a few seasons and has been pretty successful, last season we had 20 entrants throughout the whole year and m_wood came out the eventual winner after a very good battle with sarahh.

So now with a new season becomes a new thread...

How does it work?

- Scenarios are put up by anyone, usually myself. Participants then post their predictions and scores are worked out once they happen. Scores are then added to the table. It's fairly simple, basically follow each set of instructions. The league will run throughout the whole domestic season.

What can we expect?

- We're not just going to get Prem Games week in, week out. There are loads of random possibilities. Previous players will know exactly the kind of creative stuff thought up. (Though it will mainly centre around the English competitions, there are also Europe's other top leagues and ofcourse, the European Cups)

How can I join?

- Simple, just post your prediction.

League Table

- The table will run on total points from the Season's predictions, if tied places will be decided on week wins.

Off to a flyer!

You will choose 3 teams from each league who will begin their campaign with a win, for each team you get correct you will get 2 points.

You will predict the player who will score the most goals in the opening weekend of their league, If you get this correct you will receive 3 points.

You will predict any team out of all divisions to score MORE than 3 goals (does not need to be a team you have already chosen), this will also be worth 3 points.

That makes a possible 30 points I believe.

High scorer - Fernando Torres

Champ:

Teams to win
Wolves
Cardiff
Blackpool

High scorer - Craig Bellamy (after he completes move to Cardiff OBV)

I think you should create a pre season prediction for the Premier league, the winners of the tournaments etc.

We always forget to do it each year!

I think you should create a pre season prediction for the Premier league, the winners of the tournaments etc.

Will do one on Monday, I know we will be one game in etc but should be early enough. I will do 2, one for the halfway stage (19 game mark) and one for the end of season.

You can make predictions after the Friday deadline but obviouly the Friday game/s will not be involved.
