Hi,
When I open the game window the Java logo just goes round and round in circles and doesn't open the game.
I have tried everything it says on the help page on here. And read through the "black screen and general java solutions thread".
I have uninstalled every version of java, cleared the registry, restarted the computer, re-installed the latest version of java. Java script is enabled and java is enabled on all browsers. I have tried firefox, IE and chrome and the same problem occurs on all explorers.
I have also done various security checks to make sure my computer is all good. Everything has come back clear.
Your java properties:
Java version: 1.7.0_17
Java vendor: Oracle Corporation
Operating system: Windows Vista
VERDICT: success
Javascript is enabled
Congratulations, this means the game should run correctly on your computer.
Does anyone have any other ideas of how to fix this? Any ideas welcome as this is really frustrating me now.
Thanks,
James

kinda a different problem but it may help in some way due to there been a new java download to the old version that had security issues.

Thanks Davey.
But it says that update is if you are on Java update 10 or below. As I have Java update 17 installed on my computer I don't think this will apply to me.
Still searching for a fix....

lmao unlucky
A pop up blocker can sometimes make java unable to open.
When i installed the last java update i could not get logged on like you, just uninstall again and install the latest version again, will probably work that time
Want a game? Oh forgot you can't log on

Thanks for the replys.
Have now cleared the Java cache and disabled any pop up blockers, but still have the same problem. Any other ideas are welcome. And peanut I'll give you a game when I get this thing sorted, show you what's what.
Thanks.

I've tried other games that need Java and they all seem to work fine...which I thought was a bit strange. Is there actually anything I can do then?

Another thing to add is that not only does the game not load, when I try and close the game window the whole browser will freeze (happens on all the browsers I have tried) and I have to close it using the task manager.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Hmm that is abit strange but it shows that its something to do with the site. Wonder if your firewall is blocking funky. Might be something to check. And make sure your browser allows pop ups cos with the new Java there is a pop up box that asks you if you want to run it or not.
Other then that the Only thing I can think of is uninstalling Java. Then delete opera and reinstall it. Then download Java again.

Cheers for trying to help Davey!
Checked my firewall to see if the site was blocked...found out that the firewall isn't even turned on so I don't think it's that.
Checked that my browser allows pop-ups, which it does.
Everything seems to be fine, I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work. I already uninstalled everything to do with Java on my computer, deleted caches and left over filed and did a clean re-install, but didn't seem to change anything.
Need some of the serious computer people on here to help me out! Come on guyyyyyssss!!

Can you download this;
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard
Then go onto this page and see if the 2 java things that are on mine are on yours.
As far as i know these are what bring up the confirm box when opening a java applet.. Yours may keep spinning because the box dont come up for you to confirm.
