daveyyyy cheers for the help here! And you might be onto something as well! Those two Java things that are on yours aren't on mine, the only Java thing on that startup screen I get is "SunJaveUpdateSched".! And I don't get a confirm box when opening a Java applet either!

check that too and if its already ticked then untick it and retry then as it goes back to the old way of running java which use to work for you.. In the mean time i will look into getting these 2 java things..

Everytime i go on that page i have a confirm box come up which is what suppose to happen..

And as u can read from that picture that update 17 as secruity flaws.. update 11 is what they recommend.

These are my settings in the java control panel.

Also 1 more question.. have you tried turning you anti virus off and then trying.. dont leave it off but just try it to see if it works..

Firefox and IE have both had reports of bugs so use opera to try..

Davey you're a legend for being the only person really trying to help me here. Appreciate it.
I've made sure all my Java settings match yours..there were a couple of tick boxes I changed.
So I need to uninstall Java update 17 and install Java update 11 and try that on Opera.
See I don't get any security warnings like that at all. Am I meant to??
Will try this first then have a go at my anti virus see what happens.


... Well after just changing those settings and trying Opera...no luck so far. Will try reinstalling Java to update 11 now.

As far as i know since the Java 7 updates came out you are suppose to get that security warning box..

Hope it works.. Ive even tried giving my other laptop the same problems but i cant seem to break it..

Good luck finding a update 11.. only place i found was a site where u need to sign up to oracle.. --__--

Ive also asked flapjack from pool to have a look as he abit of a computer genius..

Well have uninstalled everything I can find to do with Java on my laptop and reinstalled to Java update 11, made sure my settings match yours again, and guess what....the Java logo just keeps going round and round and roundddd!

try the anti virus thing..

You can disable it temporarily in the advance settings of AVG.. if u use a AVG..lol

Oh you get it now... that should come up when u try opening the table up otherwise the logo keeps spinning.. you have to accept it each time you log in unless you tick the box saying run this everytime..

That security box comes up now when I open the game as well yeah. So I just temporarily disabled AVG it actually works now!! Spot on!

So I tried enabling AVG again and it still works as well which is a bit weird. Not sure what exactly has fixed it but... touch wood... everything seems fine so far!
