Right, after a month of debating whether to carry on playing or not, Linfield has made that decision easier for me. I lost 5-1, he was great I was "below par" so to speak. Life atm is too good to waste being sat at a comp, and the only way I'll stay good at this game is by practising, and you and me both know that ain't gonna happen. So not only am I hanging my cue up, I'm gonna snap it in half and burn it.

Seb may do sub when he comes on mate, i do have him on Facebook but hes been iffy lately so not sure

on another note, lets try and be more active, noticed some of you aren't really active (onevisit, ededed, tornado etc).

That's another day with no sign of the_tornado, deadline is sunday and he has been offline for 8 of the 11 days so far, any chance of a sub or this game will struggle to get played

Best clan match ive played and been involved with in a long time. Only scrappy frame was the last but was pressure on us both to take it since i was 3-2 down at this point.

Slow start by everyone- it took quite a while until hoolahan went out first. Things could've gone a lot quicker if imran hadn't fluked to save himself with 1 life early on!!

We then had a nightmare of a time trying to kill linny with the order seb, dgen, greg, linny. I gave dgen tough choices, dgen didnt leave nice angles, and greg didnt use several chances to leave them safe. On the other hand, davey left me with touching ball 4 times (I may or may not have fluked out of those twice ).

Finally, linfield was gone and we had about 8 frames of nobody getting killed. Then imran got a bit impatient and went for a very tough double black. That got him down to 1 life and he was killed shortly afterwards. Now we had:
davey (2), seb (3), dgen (2), greg (2)

dgen tried to leave perfect black safety for greg, but missed the red to go down to 1. greg had ball in hand, but couldn't get the cue ball safe for an easy safety. on the next shot, i tried to free the red for dgen and it went across the table to the cushion to kill him. Gifted point after all that work!!!

greg and I eventually got davey to lose a last life a few racks later. Longest killer game for me by far on funky.

No, I didn't mean to single you out. A safety comes from everyone involved in setting it up. We all messed up several chances there, but we can be fairly happy with the result.

I've left it a bit late....
