First two frames was scrappy, I took first with a bit of luck from black to yellow. Second Frame Matty got lag but left no pot so he took that frame. Frame 3 was a good safety battle and matty potted a tough one for the cent. Frame 4 was a bad breakoff and that was that. Frame 5 we both had chances but i made the last mistake which annoyed me a bit. Frame 6, i pot a red, somehow go into baulk colours and leave nothing, in the end i had to go for a colour since red was over the pocket, i went for black but didn't go (Yellow was just as tough to middle).

Best i could get was a 3-3 but matty proved too strong today and even though my safety was quite good, matty dominated with his potting so kept me off the table.

Perhaps i shouldn't have played today but matty was struggling for time so i said yes
