Deadline: Tues 20th August

Each clan has 14 individual games to be played in the preseason friendlies (excluding killer). Any clan that completes 12 out of 14 games automatically qualifies to play in the league. The decision on clans completing fewer than 12 games is with the defaults panel.

Killer:
What's new: Two games of killer are now played instead of 1. The standard format is 2 vs 2 players, although clans may agree to play with more players!
As before, unplayed games will be played on 9pm deadline day. On deadline day, any player that's online can play even without agreement by the other clan.
Killer Scoring: The first place of each killer game gets 2 points, the 2nd-place player gets 1 point. That's a total of 6 points available as before in killer.

Fair Play Guidelines:
Particularly for those new to clans:

- Never concede frames without playing them. Even if you're losing 5-0, you can not give away the last frame without playing it!!

- Do not attempt to put off your opponents - respect each other.

- No pushouts in snooker! You must make an honest attempt to hit a ball on when snookered.

- If one player does not want spectators, they must leave!

As you can see in the fixtures, I've engaged in my annual jimmy-trolling exercise.
The lineups are not necessarily as they will look in games that matter.

The only thing that matters in these friendlies is that they get played. Score is irrelevant.
Anyone who wants to play killer should go for it and arrange if possible. We'll try to get 3v3 or higher going, but the standard this season is 2v2 killer.

With the pushout rule, who's to say someone did or didn't?
Be one word against the other.

True we have had these cases before, in that instance they would message either myself or seb and we would watch the game. If they do it again they could be warned.

As dgen said, in the cases we've had so far, the offending player usually didn't know the rule existed. If a runner is online, get them to watch the remaining games (or anyone else). Repeated complaints are also good indicators.
