I'm having similar problems to the above. Fibre optic and the whole site is slow, and occasionally I am unable to connect at all. I have a 64 bit windows installation and this may have caused the problem.

I've "solved" the problem by installing a 64 bit browser called Pale moon. Everything's instant, the games no longer lagging at all. I would say this would suggest it's a 64 bit compatibility issue as it appears on all other major 32 browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE) on my 64 bit machine.

I have the latest Java, and the latest versions of all 4 browsers. If you use a 64 bit browser you'll need the 64 bit Java as well. Hope this helps someone.

PS unlike others, other sites were slightly slower than usual for me e.g. youtube lagged slightly. Maybe my problem is unconnected to other's.

This is exactly what happens to me, I lose connection to the site and it won't load anything at all but the internet still works and loads other pages fine.

Any mods/admin able to explain what causes you to be logged out suddenly, with it saying:

Sorry, an error has occurred (this has been logged on the server). Please log in and try again.

No warnings of connection loss or not responding, just randomly logs you out. Does the fact it says this has been logged on the server mean you mods can see what caused it?

No the first time this has happened now.

Okay, so last night there were about 4 people who were not responding all at the same time, i thought it was normal.

Then today, roughly 10 of us were all logged out, I was logged out of a tournament.

My other web pages were working fine, just the funkysnooker. My java and everything is all updated.

Is this a regular occurrence for everyone else or..?

Nick needs to ask questions of his service provider! And then ask for a better SLA! (service level agreement)

Just have to say...it's free (unless your one of the ones who pay) just enjoy the game liek i do, and everytime it lags, JUST DONT CARE. ;)

I sure don't..but then again if i was 800+ maybe i would..either way it's just a game...enjoy it and have fun, i know Nick has other projects, assignment's, and work other than funkypool/snooker to deal with. Be glad he hasn't shut it all down, like he nearly did a while back..maybe dgeneratio or somebody can find that post.
