My match is going to be easy to arrange , got the same player in both games

yeah lol, i had a rise smile when i paired them up

After a very messy set, we've somehow ended up with only one default, mainly because roughly 20 of the 57 games were played in the final hours.

I would highly recommend that people dont leave it to the very last day to complete games! When we do defaults, we often get complaints about receiving very few points from them. If you leave games to the last minute and then encounter complications (, thats your fault and you will get very few points.

There were some positives though- only one of the killer games needed to be played on the last day!

Please remember to post results along with breaks on the results thread, otherwise they dont get updated!

Finally, tonight is the deadline for round 1 of the Players Championship. If your game is unplayed and you want to go into the next round, you must post to show interest. Otherwise, you will be defaulted out, even if your opponent has been offline a month!

Epic matches deserve a story right.

So me and Borini play our cup match.

First of its arcade. He smash breaks and misses and i pot a reasonable 39 but as always i cant get over the line and that should be it, but he misses early on and i finish up this time so im 1 up.

We head into regular and the pockets seem to swell to twice their normal size and i receive a Borini ball cruncher. No chance at all 1-1

Original. Beaten on three occasions by 6-0. I get a couple of little breaks but managing to keep it safe. He leaves me on and i get a 47 break to just edge it. I have sweaty plams by now.

Carom. Not liked by either of us. 2-1 to me early on. Then a couple for Borini. I get a couple for the lead needing just 1. He draws level and then gets 2 more for a 6-4 lead. Crap as i am i get 2 to level.After a few shots each from no where he gets 2 more and im done. Cracking game of carom. Never thought id say that. So 2-2

Power. He gets the break. In front of my eyes the pockets grow to three times their normal size and with still 6 mins remaining he is 300 in front. Unbelievable potting. So he done me like a kipper in the last.

2-3 to Borini

Really good match and good fun to boot. Smashing guy and a pleasure to play as always. I would play him just to watch any day .Awesome
