I, like many others, am a long time member of both sites from back in the poolsharks days.

Brighteyes is one of the people who is "always on". I hardly spoke to her till the past year or so, but she has always been there.

Knightmare on the other hand - i can swear on my daughters life i never saw you until i read this.

Now that doesn't mean you're not online, just that you obviously "hang out" elsewhere on the site.

i'd never heard of brighteyes until she became a mod but the fact is i dont usually scroll down in the members bar to see who is on but what i'm trying to say is that people proberaly dont notice other members that much anyway ecept a few who talk in the chat room so most mods are unheard of before they became a mod plus brighteyes is a great mod allways online and now every1 has heard of her xx

thats shocking, and i mean absolutely positively shocking that you have no heard of spinner. i'm really starting to wonder if you've used this site at all because spinner is a very widely known or at least seen user.

also, i wouldn't recommend telling me off for taking things out of context. after all the job on here is to in esscence moderating things so there are no arguements

i understand you know people who want to be mod, but what makes you think i did not want to be a mod?? and what makes them more qualified for the job...

When I first joined, Spinner was one of the people that I noticed present on the forums a lot.

I think more people hadn't heard of you before this topic, than hadn't heard of _brighteyes_ before she became a moderator or Spinner.

Just a little query, how would you know these users are on a lot and want to be mods unless you're on a lot yourself and are at least friendly with them?
Condradicts what you've said..

Being on a lot and being outwardly friendly are two useful aspects towards being a mod. However many unseen aspects such as cheating and other previous offences, time as a user on that name and age etc can rule people out. People who play a lot are also paused for consideration in regards to if they would actually moderate or just play.

As long as Spinner does not become a Mod then im very happy! lmao but yeah who hasnt heard his arrogant comments before knightmare??

You will be happy to know (or unhappy) he is a mod on pool and you cannot mod on pool and snooker

That was a bit uncalled for poo_cue.

Not really me and spinner have had our disagreements i was merely saying that he is reknowned(spelling) for his duvious(spelling) posts and that is why you should know him if you had been playing on here, posting in forums etc.

actually poo your post was a little bit on the negative side, i'm not saying a word because everyone knows the past me and spinner had on pool .

but also to be fair, spinner is known for his outwardly opinion and tough stands on topics... if you haven't seen at least one of his posts pre-this thread..i'm worried

ive known knightmare since i joined a while ago, hes a regular here but actually evry12 is entitled to their own opinions on things but tough stands etc, he aint a mod here so he wont be making tough stands on nothing lol

i think that din dong doo was meant to be like "ha i proved my point" ...except you didn't. i agree i'm going to ask farren to cap this bad boy next time he's on. and knightmare, on saturdays i'm known to be on nearly 10 hours . and i've only had one name for 2 years.... hopefully you'll recheck your opinion of me, but my hopes aren't high.

There are no rules that seperate certain rights of speach between moderators and members. We have to follow the rules too!

Knightmare, i actually agree that your first post was proberbly taken slightly the wrong way but if you put a post up like that in a public forum then you are going to get feedback. Not nessesarily on the same topic but a good discussion however so im happy with the outcome.
