Why not?
England were awful and have been all world cup, they didn't deserve to win at all today because NZ were far superior. It's a mystery how they only lost by 10 points. The amount of knock-ons was atrocious. Out with the deadwood - players such as Wellens, Gardner, Senior, Graham, need to hang their heads in shame.

Lets face it, if it weren't for the farcical set up of the tournie, we wouldn't have made the semi.
Too many saints/leeds players let the side down, not performing like they do for club.
In my biassed opinion the 2 bst players were warringtons, Moz and definitely Gleese.
worst players were adie gardenr, danny maguire, james roby, paul wellens, wilkin, and sinfield. Just awful!!

anyway main reason I went on was to look at just what was having with the playoffs...
here is what i found..
"From the 2009 season onwards, the engage Super League Championship will be decided by an exciting new play-off format involving the top eight teams in the competition.
The format will also feature an innovative new element which sees one team given the opportunity to choose its next opponent.
The engage Super League play-offs will see all eight teams involved in the four matches which take place in the opening week. The League Leaders will face the fourth place team, second will play third, fifth will play eighth and sixth will face seventh. The winners of these games will progress directly to the third week of the series.
The losers in these two games will have another chance in the second week when they face the winners of the week one Elimination Play-Offs which involve the other four teams losers are out.
In week three, the winners of the two Qualifying Play-Offs will play the winners from week two.
Significantly, the winning team from week one with the highest League placing will be allowed to select their opponents at this.
Simple .........

Hull Kr v Warrington at the Magic Weekend is the last game and therefore the climax to the whole event.
Best game of the weekend has to be last, bring it on!

Ouch. Put it this way, they will be the 2 most supported teams playing there. Thats all we can control, how the team plays isn't down to the fans, all we can do is turn up and let ourselves be heard and get hammered. Warrington fans last year were everywhere.
Watch this...

Am going to murrayfield too, should be good, last year it took 2 train journeys from warrington to birmingham - then into cardiff, and on the way back 3 train journeys, cardiff to birmingham to chester and then into warrington. Next year its just one tran and me and my mates are staying for the weekend. Should be better than ever.

Are you one of the smurfs? and LOL at 'who are ya to the police'.
Rugby League fans hardly cause violence though - which differs it from Football.
The fights between Hull kr and Hull fc were blown out of proportion.

Warrington 24 - 32 Hull Kr
Thought I'd sneak that one in :P - i thought it was a great game for a friendly! it was full blown and both teams went in hammer and tongue, it's a shame Westwood got floored after trying to smash Fozzard - he seriously is a man mountain, wouldn't wanna mess with him.
2 strong teams - with only the bench of both teams slightly weaker.
Good support from us as always - a thursday night from Hull isn't a short trip. The numbers impressed me.
Roll on the season - I'm really looking forward to it - Rovers, top 5 finish :)

Didn't even know it was on :S
I think its stupid superer league teams playing super league teams in friendlies, you wouldn't see that in football. Were they 2 full teams ste? When i Watched warrington V wigan over the new year we played kids against their 1st team and got hammered.

Replacements: 9. Ben Fisher, 18. Scott Wheeldon, 17. Makali Aizue, 10. David Mills, 23. Ryan Esders.
Warrington: 23. Chris Hicks; 2. Paul Johnson, 3. Martin Gleeson, 4. Matt King, 5. Kevin Penny; 6. Lee Briers, 7. Michael Monaghan; 18. Michael Cooper, 14. Mickey Higham, 10. Paul Rauhihi; 12. Ben Westwood, 22. Lee Mitchell, 21. Matty Blythe.

It was probably one of the best friendlies I've seen, it was like a competitive match - plus the unlimited subs didn't ruin the flow of the game. Was played at a high tempo and a good bruising encounter for both sides.
It's a strong side for both teams ^
