how can we bring more players to the site ideas please!?

i think just mention the game to people will help.

especially if u go to school then that is a great way to spread the word

tell people on pool to come here. at night you can usually get a game on pool but on here there are like 5 people on. pool has tournys that have at least 20 people in them all night. There should be more tournys and then more poolheads would play on here. Although 5 tournys a day makes a tourny win sweeter cos u know u have beat sum good players to win it

lol i try to sneak over to pool and post the website in the members chat and stuff haha

i'm really trying to work on this, i say just try to tell your mates from school and work about it

I dont like the idea of pool users coming over here. We already get enough of the banned ones. I try to mention this games to my mates and iv got one hooked on it

as everybody knows pool has been around longer than snooker hence the higher amount of members, given the time, this site will match the amount of members, this is everybodys site so i put it to you that as sam said, you all need to spread the word.

perhaps when premium comes out, nick will have a bit of cash to spend on advertising on other sites? That could certainly pull a lot more in.

you have 1 hooked on it. from telling peeps off my pool buddy list i got 2 new users lol. I always tell people who arent brilliant at pool to come over here because i find that playing arcade snooker on here has helped me on pool. since i joined this and got virtuoso my uk pool rank gone up to 840, and my 8ball rank has gone up to 830ish (tho it fell back down hate flukers). As has been mentioned pool has been going longer and this site will grow just as big eventually.
personally i think instead of having pool and snooker accounts you should just have one funkyaccount. cuts down the problem of banned pool users coming on here lol and also means the peopple on pool wouldnt have to sign up here and could just come over on same account. i know it doesnt take long to create an account but some peeps r lazy lol. i played as a guest for 2 weeks before signing up. dont know if it would be

d to do but if it is possible then that would surely bring more people over here. also increasing tourny sizes has got to help.

in this country snooker is a lot more popular than pool. I have no doubt that with clever advertising and word of mouth, eventually this site could become bigger than pool

wht do we need to be bigger than pool i like this site how it is. like 1 small close community. on pool its like your a goldfish swimming with 2000 sharks its frightening!!!

I agree with 2good. If i ever go on pool (which is hardly ever) it feels as if you are insignificant plus nobody listens to you, i.e moderators. I would hate for that to happen to funky snooker. Also, having beginners join this site wouldnt make it very popular with higher ranked players as i find there are more 600's than ever nowadays. But i suppose, we all started there at some point

I have a feeling that during the summer season it will get quite busy here. What better time to spread the word?

Also, it's always good to show a good impression in front of new users. Just simply welcoming them will assure they feel more confortable and wish to play regularly.

I think the popularity of pool will help this site, as people will notice the link to here...maybe even ingame advertisements on pool could help?

pffft, snooker is more popular in this country the only reason why pool is more popular out of the two sites is because its easy and was the first of the two sites to be made. This site just needs to be advertised more, especially on google if thats possible.

ok madmiketyson, i have introduced the game to a lot of my mates but i was just saying that one of them is absoloutly hooked on it. Which means he can also tell other people about the game since he likes it so much. Understand?
