The main change is that accounts can no longer be deleted. If you wish you can deactivate your account, this frees up your email address to use in another account but your name is not available to take. The system will remove the account after 1 year.

The second change is that account holders receive a message after 12 months inactivity warning that their account will be removed if they don't login in the next 30 days. After this period the accounts will be removed.

I've also formatted all the emails to a nicer look, trying to bring up the emails to a similar standard to the site. The old emails (eg validation mail) left a poor first impression on the site in my opinion.

Finally the room dialog has been optimized to speed up the connection and reduce the traffic used. If you flick between different lists there is a small delay however.

Sounds good nick, there is some people complaining about not being able to play ranked game's in the members bar. Dont know if its true i have had no trouble.

Except that the user name is only freed after 1 year, is the 'deactivate' functionality totally the same as the old 'delete'? Can we say that 'deactivate' is a "delayed delete"?

Would it be possible to let us carry on when are opponents leave in a tournament game? Cause when are opponents leave i think it gives you one minute to complete the game if not then it comes up you have a bye. This has cost me quite a few century's and i know its cost other people high breaks.

Could you possibly fix this bug nick?

As we've discussed before, thats not a bug, and its not a time limit.

Whan you get far enough ahead, the game finishes rather than carry on and risk a double DQ.

Basically, in tournaments, the priority is to keep things moving, if you want high breaks, stick to non tourney games

i dont get that, your at just as much a risk of being DQ'd when your opponent stays than if he leaves, it makes no difference time wise, plus the set time limit is there for a reason, surely theres no point in it if people aren't allowed to use all of it up?
