I know this has been mestioned many many times before but is it possible to just join a game and automatically see whats going on in tournament, ranked/friendly games?

I don't know if Nick is working on this but could either Nick or spinner explain if this is difficult to implement or this is in his must do list?

right due to the recent complaints with guest i have been thinking about what could be done i come up with this

temporary guest stats

so say a guest logs in and plays a few games there wins, loses, and high breaks are recorded until that guest logs out

this would give members the chance to get an idea of who they are playing

this also lets everyone play and doesn't restrict anyone from the game

these results would only be temporary as guests log in and out all the time, so the stats would be for that guest at that current time, so when they log out the results would be reset.

would look something like this

guest 007

wins 5
loses 3
high break 69

Thoughts?

To summarise that point, if guests want to have stats, then they should sign up.

he is'nt really asking for members to get stats and profiles etc etc. Just that members can see what that guest has done while they are logged in. They couldnt see those stats and nor could they keep them- theyd reset once they logged out. Just be handy for you to see if they are any kop before a game and not harm your win% or whatever.

But a guest can easily log out after playing two games and then log in and theyd start at zero again, which makes it kinda pointless.

i actually think its quite a good idea.. because most guests... are members who are out of form who want some games....

The point of a guest is to have a try and see what it is like to play the game. If they want the full experience of stats etc, then they should sign up.

OK, a few changes that have been commonly requested.

You can view the ranking of the room owner before entering the room. Also you can choose a rank range for the room eg 600-800.

Finally after posting on the forum it shows how many posts you have made (so you forum junkies *cough* can see when you're close to the limit).

hmm although in the first update.. you get your results against friends .. i think you should be able to view your results against people when you view their profile.. because say you are in a tourny, you won't be friends with everyone in the tourny.. but you might have played people before without remembering so you could check their profile....
