No ive not played him, but if a member hasn't played damee what your saying is that means damee isn't up their either, the man has 14 centuries one of which is still on the top ten and has been for some time now. This was before zoom was ever invented. So that puts him way up their no matter the opponents he played.

I haven't played enough of the past players to decide who my top ten "legends" are, but I have to say ste_efc is one of the greatest ever arcade players, and since I never saw _spursjay_ play, his win/loss record tells me he must be one of the best ever.

Frames today can go either way, frames 18 months ago meant if you were good you had the frame in the bag.

I agree with jon, Zoom or not zoom 5 147's in some achievement! And mike, i reckon damee would have a 147 without zoom.

I'm not saying he wouldn't, i'm saying it's a brilliant achievement, weather the use of zoom or not, i couldn't do it even with zoom, and doubt any of the high rankers like lindsell or N_e_r_d or blutch could either

Mark is on a laptop which decreases original ball size anyway and doesnt zoom! which is inceredible i think and im sure he'll have a 147 soon enough.

Them 23 points is the difference between a maxumim or not actually. Which mean an awful lot back to the point... _spursjay_ was great, and I can say that having played him numerous times on my old account.

_spursjay_ was great, but so is damee, they are both legends at the times when they was on, maybe if _spursjay_ came on and tried for the 147 we could determine who is better

Well he has deactivated so that wont happen hehe. He said that he was going away for a few months with work but he would be back. But obviously he must have had enough and retired at that time holding the title as the best overall player ever

In my opinion damee is the best snooker player to play this game. Ok, maybe I wasn't around 'back in the day' but I am still entitled to my opinion. Zoom helps, yes, but still only 3 people have hit 147's. So to achieve 5 out of 7 147's is an incredible feat. The day _spursjay_ hit a max, with or without zoom, he will become a legend. The games moved on a lot, and some people are living way too much in the past.
