Your gonna call me biased now Mike but, I honeslty thought that the penalty decision was correct for the mere fact that geovanni was in a goal scoring position and was going straight in on goal, he would of scored if there had been no contact. But, Wheater being sent off was a poor decision, like i've said on numerous occasions, the penalty is the punishment and i didn't feel he warranted a sending off for it. I did say up there that decisions do come around so maybe the Fuller penalty from last week has evened itself up now.

Anyhow, a bizzare last 10mins were eeverything happened, might as well of cut out the first 75 or so mins :). Edging ever closer to that magical 40.

I havn't seen it, but if Wheater was sent off for being last man, then he deserves it. You even said why earlier i nyour post, he was in a goal scoring position. The penalty isn't punishment enough (Even more so if it's just a free kick), in most cases it's done to stop the other team from scoring, and even if it sounds stupid giving them a penalty for that, there has to be some punishment for the individual themselves.

Newcastle 2-2 Stoke

Now, why aren't we allowed to swear on this forum? I really could do with being able to!

Kinnear doens't have a clue, his half time team talks when we're winning must be along the lines of "I want to draw, let them score" 'cause that's what it seemed like. We went from organised (Yet not great) football in the first half and looking in a position to hammer Stoke, to being completely disorganised in the second half.

I think I know what to give my brother for Christmas now! Shame he probably doesn't want my season ticket either!

nice to see owen get a double tho. unlucky at the end for newcastle.

glad liverpool won today and scored more than 1 goal! first half was poor, and we should of kept a clean sheet. still not got it fully sorted out yet but im liking the look of the table :)

Owen scored two goals that Cacapa could have scored then did nothing else the whole match, waiting for someone else to do his work then get the glory.

And we weren't unlucky, it was Kinnear's fault, not bad luck, his bad managerial abilities.

Your well biassed!! lol

Geo was offside by abart a mile, he actually leant into Weater and through himself to the deck, and the red card just mde it even more unbelievable.

You cant complain about any more ref decisions after that!

Well your stuck with him now till the end of the season, so get over it. I actaully think hes done ok, he does seem to be a draw specialist, but at least he has steadied the ships.

What's to 'get over'? I'm pretty annoyed with what went on today, and it happened due to what he did.

And having just seen MoTD, officials are upto it again, how on earth did that linesman believe that was a foul for the free-kick? And why on earth did Mike Riley go along with it? Expect no better from Riley though, he's really consistent and being a bad referee... Can't stand him.

Well after seeing the decision that led to the free kick, it's understandable what he said o them, not matter how strong it was!

yeah but cmon, what about the respect campaign???

Just watching MOTD and I think arsenal fans are pretty much scum, cheering when their own player gets subbed and they are winning is just uncalled for and I hope the trend doesn't kick in outside of the capital, just pathetic "supporters" ( is that the right term) Maybe spectators is a better word for em.

I'm fed up of this respect campaing. Referees that deserve respect are given respect, if they're going to put in the performances that some of them do, then they deserve everything that gets thrown towards them, some of the decisions that are made are unbelievably bad.

Yeah it's bad enough booing the team as a whole, but picking an individual out is way too far.
