Jo - Legend

If it does go to pens ste I would bet my xbox that we would win with pep in goal

Keane has gone to Spurs

Mixed feelings

1) He never got enough cnaces at anfield

2) When he played he didn't play well enough

3) Going back to spurs shows a total lack of ambition on his part, he should of stayed and fought for a place

4) Returning to spurs is his last resort, if he had been a sucess he would never of dreamed of going back there. Berbatov for example has done o.k for utd and hasn't looked back to spurs sice

5) With the formation of 4-4-1-1 Keane should never have been bought. I am sure that Rick Parry sanctioned the deal - Rafa wanted barry, keane was his second name on his list.

6) We don't have a sub striker.... :S (well N'gog, but hes about anichebe class )

Strange decision to buy him, stranger decision to sell him, especially in the last hour of the window, if Torres gets injured now we've had it.

Very odd, but Robbie will not go down as an anfield legend, what a waste of time and money, should of fought for a place, but now hes gone for the easy life in London, with no expectations.

No time for him.

Yepp if it did go down to pens, Everton would be huge underdogs even though it is luck!

Was that sarcastic Mike "Jo = Legend" lol? Personally I've hardly seen him play. He's a Brazil international so who knows, he's got to be better than Anichebe!

Mike, for the first time ever with you're posts i totally agree with you on:

so we buy Keane for 20.3M and sell him for 15M? He's scored what is it...5 goals in the premier league for us. doesn't take a genius to work out thats over 1mil a goal!

Got to agree mike, with 4-4-1-1 Keane wasn't rally an ideal choice.

Can't see Liverpool winning the title, United are so far ahead of EVERYONE in the league it's scary. I've seen numerous games involving different teams and each time I watch United, there on a different level.

Not that they don't cop the decisions - they get plenty of them! It just makes it easier for them, but without doubt they deserve to be top of the league on merit, they are far superior in every department.

David Moyes at United Ste? That would be the day where United's football will go down the pan and resort to negative football will come to the fore. Don't get me wrong, Moyes has done a great job on shoestring finances and has built a good side, it's just the football Everton play is quite un-entertaining, I've watched their last 4 games and the 2 against Liverpool they showed nothing, they went a goal up in the cup game and tried to defend! As if your gonna defend a 0-1 lead for such a long time.

I'd rather see entertaining football. Everton to me do excellently to get the results but do not play fast flowing football and it stems from Moyes. Your gonna disagree I know.

About Liverpool winning the title, if it goes down the the final day guess who we have to play...

Tottenham

On a second note, but annoyed that Bosingwa isn't going to be disciplined for what he did to Benayoun. (note sure if thats spelt right)

That post is outrages!! What!!!!!!!?

Man utd's football would change? How could it! The players in the team now wouldn't say "oh erm... lets play different!" as iff!! They would play the way they normally play, moyes can't change players talents! If moyes was in charge in the last 3 season with man utd they would of still won the league!!!

Now this i found outrages! The last four games? Have you seen our line up? We had no strikers! Oh yeah we had one who is 20 and can't play football so he doesn't count! We we're missing most of our star players! We had some of them back against man utd and played football, actually the best we have played at old trafford in a while! Didn't expect that post off you Ste! Now go back and review all what moyes has done then the money he's spend then the results then the players he's had and thennnnnnn reply!

Managers do have a major effect on how the team plays. Put it this way, under Allardyce we played defensive, long ball stuff. Derby came to SJP and we tried to contain them. Under Keegan, with the same squad we played attacking football, always going for more goals. Then now under Kinnear we're back similar to Allardyce tactics, long ball up to the strikers and playing pretty defensively again

Somehow I think it's Fergie telling his young full backs to bomb up the pitch and near enough every player in that team has a winning mentality, Moyes doesn't obviously have that 'aura' about him like Fergie.

Ok ok, maybe I was harsh about Everton's negativity regarding injuries, but when Moyes said he was going to be a lot more positive, 'all out for the win' before the cup game, why then did he tell his players to go negative even at 1-1.. he brought a defender on for an attacking player, not sure if it was Piennar?

Mate, there wasn't much conviction at all from Everton against United - they were hardly troubled!

Not saying we are 'better' because the league table doesn't lie but at least we wern't negative when we went to Anfield (0-2 up in 15mins) and Old Trafford were we lost 4-3.

Sorry mate, but there are certain managers that are successfull and others well just aren't suited to a job. Moyes would not be as successfull as Ferguson that is for sure.

Looks like Arsharvin could go through afterall ... boooo

Uniteds sucess comes from their attacking nature, they have always got 3-4 players in the box and more when in the dying seconds (the reason they score so often late on).

Of course a big budget helps but Chelsea have spent bigger but do not have the mentality of going all out for the win, that fergie does. We are similar in that respect, we have scored 10 late goals this season, but also drawn to many, that is because we do push on, but not to the extent of fergies team.

I reckon Martin O'neil is nailed on for the United job when fergie hangs up his hairdryer.

P.S Still can't believe we haven't bought in a replacement for Keane, atrocious stuff from my best mate Rick Parry, hes had all bloody day to get someone...., anyone!!
