Ste, you might aswell stay in the city liverpool going be spending alot of time abroad in the champs league am only joking dude!

Lets have man utd at wembley! I just hope everton go out and play like heros how long ago untill they were last at wembley? Just hope they go out and give a performance of their life they will have to play big to make it through to the final just hope they dont go there and play rubbish now

Also hull vs castle, I'm guessing a draw thats only if both teams play the par 1 bad slip from a defender or 1 bad shot is going to give it the other way!

Stoke Vs The sesmi finalist (boooo)

Ste just to let you no we are happy taking a point of you hope you will be the same, I am not expecting the win at all but we got pretty much the strongest team we have had all season and hopefully moyes drops his first team and rests them untill fa cup (lmfao like that would happen)Can't wait for it, just hope we don't let you lot have to much room with the ball becuase when the defence seems to spread out to much we leave stupid gaps and concede stupid goals!

Well then, what can I say? What a result! Completely outclassed United today even dossena had a good run out! It's Uniteds biggest loss at home since 1992 and our biggest win there since 1936! Yeah that's right I just statisticfied you! aha! What a game!

Everton 3-1 Stoke

result is quite flattering tbh, first half we were very comfortable but stoke played really well in the second, overall i believe we deserved the win but the margin in which we did does not reflect the game.

COYB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Said it perfectly. Well done stoke. Another 3 points towards European football once again.

Reading the papers this morning, I couldn't help but laugh. I only buy them when we play united, just to see what the thoughts are. They are the same every time - very pro united.

This time, I read all about how Rafas rant had resulted in an 8 point lead at the top deteriorating to a 7 point gap for united. That made me laugh. Then we had the inevitable faint praise of how well Liverpool do in Europe, but fail to deliver the goods in the Prem. Stuff on the lines of, they can beat a poor Real Madrid side, but United will not be beaten at home etc etc...

Then we had "Torres won't get much change out of Vidic as ever" rubbish. Which turned out to be just that.

Anyway, onto what really mattered - the game.

We concede off a rush of blood from Pepe, Ronaldo obviously scores, whilst Andy Grey starts doing his "cautious rafa heinsight" the second we concede. This is followed up by United dominance and it looks like one of those days.

A long whack up field from carra, and some comical defending from vidic (any push their tom!?!?) and then some classic Torres finsihing and we are level. From then on, Liverpool were the only team who were going to win, and amazingly we are given a penalty at Old Trafford!!!! blatent however ... (right Tom!?!?) and Stevie finishes it off. We then see it out to HT.

2nd Half, Vidic gets himself into a right pickle (once more) on Stevie, brings him down, and rightfully (but suprisingly) he is sent off. (Alan Wiley was brilliant all game)

Then am shouting "Fab, leave it for Stevie!!!!" thankfully, he went for it, and what a peach, Edwin had no chance! 3-1, and rightfully game over.

Then super sub Drossena came on as Stevie and Nando are once again rested when the game is safe, and another whack up field by Pepe and then a cracking lob, and he has 2 in 2.

I went completely sick, and was doing so until sitching the radio on, to find tht Warrington lost 60-8 in the rugby, then I start getting depressed again.

Anyway, I will save that for the rugby thread, Liverpool did me proud, and all the scousers who are most probably still locked in their now

Some general stuff though.

How stupid must Rooney feel now? Syas he hates us, gets hiswrists slapped, and then gets shown how to be a real striker by Torres. (this debate on Rooney or Torres is stupid, again, the media is the only thing that keeps Rooneys reputation going)

Uniteds record in Europe under fergie is terrible (won it twice in how many years of qualifying?) yet the media never point this out.

Liverpool now have taken 13/15 points against the big 3. We should be walking this league!

And finally, I might just buy another paper tomorrow, to see the faint praise we get again.

I bet it goes something like "Rafa Benitez for once got it right, and showed the footballing world he can play attacking football".

That sort of stuff am predicting, we will see

Been drinking so might be rambling slightly

Hmmmm, rumours Real Madrid value Gerrard at £80m and Alonso at £20m

This may suprise some people, but at 29 (as he will be when the window re-opens) I would be willing to sell him. I think if we are offered that, we must think about Liverpools future. We will get 3 good years out of Stevie, but 80million, if spent wisely, would 3-4 brilliant players. David Villa, Frank Ribery ec etc I would be looking to buy. That would secure our top 4 status for at least another 5-6 years.

I wouldn't let Alonso leave, £20m doesn't come close to covering his importance to Liverpool.

Hmmm it is a really tough call, but I can't see Stevie wanting to leave, we must be looking good for a 1st league win in 20 years "next year" and Real can only be a step backwards.

It depends if he thinks we have a better chance than Madrid of winning the league, his loyalty wouldn't be questioned by me, but it mainly comes down to how ruthless Rafa wants to be. I personally think he has wanted to sell Gerrard for years.

Great result for Liverpool yesterday and well deserved. We was poor in every aspect of the game, Carrick totaly not with it, Rooney poor from the word go, Vidic (best defender in world?) After yesterday not at all, all he needed to do was head or boot the ball away but he let it run and cost us a goal, only player can say played well for united was Park Ji Sung, Torres, Gerrard and Carragher = Quailty.

Nah Torres blatantly pulled him to the floor!

I don't want to go back into the Madrid game, but I felt that considering what happened for you to score, then a 'pull' on Carragher being penalised up the other end, it should have been a foul.

Don't see what the point in that bit at me is? Not one person who knows a thing about football will tell you that the penalty on Tuesday should have been a penalty.

As for Newcastle, normally at this time of the season when teams are in this situation they step it up a bit, we're playing worse as each week goes by!

Because you seem quite concerned with how Liverpool score...

You had 4 goals to pick apart. I was expecting you to say Babbel was interfering with play on Drossenas goal.

The moment has gone anyhoo

Was good to see the empty seats at OT though, i've been to one Liverpool V United game, Oshea scored in the last minute, then all the fans stood up and sang YNWA. I'll never forget it.

I picked out two goals from one match, not really showing some major concern. And Babbel was interfering was he? Can't say I thought so, but if that's what you think.

Dossena's goal was pretty class though!

Yeah I know it doesn't happen much, but to see all them dissappear was a good sight!
