Liverpool fans are the best in the world for this. They are also the most respectful

haha that made me laugh

It was the one part of the post (Which as Ste & Mike pointed at, was very good) that I didn't agree with. Yes I've said about fans and everything, and given my opinion on them, but there are many other aspects to football as well.

But onto that bit, it really isn't the case. The amount of Liverpool 'fans' I've seen saying stuff on the internet/heard at matches talking about and laughing on at the Munich disaster is unbelievable and really isn't respectful as you say Liverpool fans are.

Liverpool fans have no respect what so ever tbh.

Fair enough Everton fans sing songs about gerrard but i dont come on here saying we are the most respectful fans, Liverppol sing songs about jolean lescott and when lee carsley was at us they sang songs about his disabled daughter if you call that respect you have something missing.

Of course you get the mindless idiots singing about Munich all clubs get them. I suppose Man Uniteds equivelent songs about Bill Shankly having a heart attack is fine, and the chant 96 and its not enough and "you'll never get a job" (ZZZZZZ) and eating rats in your council house etc etc are fine

Another thing however is that if you watch any United game, you are guaranteed at least 10 anti liverpool songs, yet we reserve ours for when we play them. That is a mark of respect in my opinion because like everton fans, Liverpool is always in their minds.

On to the two tragedies, both you could say are partially Liverpool fans faults, however in both instances, the authorities were more so at fault, at Hillsborough, police let everybody in causing a big crush, then "newspapers" like the sun reported that Liverpool fans stole from the dead, urinated on the brave cops, ans beat cops up whilst they were giving the kiss of life. Police on duty lied in their statement by saying a gate was forced open but they admitted to lying in court admitting it was they who opened it

The papers printed aplogies but The Sun only did so in 2004!!

Heysel both sets of fans clashed outside the stadium. The stadium was completely unfit to host such a game and a wall callapsed killing Juve fans and injuring others. Liverpool only seem to point this out - but Liverpool fans charged at the wall and if Hillborough was the biggest tragedy then Heysel was our biggest sham

Since then, we played them en route to Istanbul for the first time and the kop (i was in the anfield rd) held up a mosiac saying they were sorry in italian and I as sat right next to the Juve fans and they all stood up and applauded. I know since Heysel the clubs also have a bond.

English clubs were banned for 5 years from European football, but IMO and I don't know if people around at the time felt this way, but it was a huge cover up by UEFA and Liverpool were the scapegoat to draw attention away from the fact they decided to have Heysel as the venue for the game.

Hmmmm makes sense in my cynical head

"sing it with me"

"hey"

Then the noise fades away

"its party time"

"come on manchester united sing it with me"

"the stretford end is singing the fans are going wild"

"come on manchester"

Pans into the crowd..

"la la la United"

"everybody sing it with me"

All the time in some really errr weird american accent, and YNWA going on all the way through it.

Cringeworthy stuff. I've been taking the mick out of a few of my United mates and they themselves are ASHAMED.

Lool.

"go on sing it with me" lmaoo
