I came onto snooker first so i didn't see it..

i presumed nicks post was about the buttons on the forum post not carom. He offered us some options for a new game the other day, and i dont remeber seeing carom? Plus if its on here already whats the point of having it on pool. It would be exactly the same no? Id rather have another game- variety is the spice of life n all that

Improvement suggestion:
When a shot is missed, the game could tell us exactly why it's a missed shot. This can be especially useful to understand the game for the newbies, and also to provide some information in case of any problem.

The causes I can think of are:
- Didn't hit any ball.
- Didn't hit the red ball before the target ball.
- Didn't hit the target ball after hitting the red ball.
- Hit the red ball twice before hitting the target ball.
- Hit the target ball before hitting 3 times the cushion.


That said, I haven't found any problem in the game, it's really good and playable!

This is supposed to be played in 2 players matches. Each player has one of the dotted balls as his cue ball.

A successful hit must satisfy the following conditions:
* your cue ball must hit first the red ball, then the opponent's cue ball
* your cue ball must hit the cushion at least 3 times before hitting the opponent's cue ball
* your cue ball mustn't hit the red ball a second time before hitting the opponent's cue ball

That's all for now! When the game will be made available for matches, you'll have to gather more points than your opponent, by performing such successful hits.

Yeah helps abit, but still hard to understand though, any chance you could have like a weeks trail of playing other users so people like me could understand it abit better, just like what they did when 9ball and 8ball was introduced on pool to replace 9ball pro and 8ball pro?
